These 20+ Tractors Have Been Caught in Tough Situations

Tractors are machines made for and used during some of the hardest construction and rescue jobs possible. They are the ones that dig, move, raise and tow machinery and heavy equipment. Generally, their mission is to help the workers. However, sometimes, these behemoths need the help of their own when they get stuck in sticky situations. In this article, we will see some of these poor vehicles in their toughest times.

1. Excavator versus the Sea

Img source: mentertained.com

This excavator has seen better times. We are not sure what went wrong here, or is this even a whole machine. The tractor was probably used to take something out of the water or to arrange the beach a bit. It does seem like it is only the arm sticking out of the shallow water. Whatever the case, we hope the operator is okay.

2. Too Deep

Img source: mentertained.com

This farmer has had a rough day. How does a tractor meant for this job fall so deep into the ground? Perhaps it was wet, or he forgot that he has a patch of deep land here. It will require multiple other vehicles to pull this one out. The equipment in the back is also stuck, which makes the job more difficult and the headache that much stronger.

3. Tractor versus a Pond

Img source: mentertained.com

This one is a classic all over the world. There are many videos of this exact thing happening. The operator was called in to help someone else probably and ended up worse than the original victim. Either the land around the pond or the skills of the operator are to blame here. The silver lining is that the water is not at all deep, and nobody seems to be injured.

4. Excavator Scoop Arm in the Snow

Img source: mentertained.com

This lonely excavator arm has been left by its lonesome at a cold beach, surrounded and buried in snow. There cannot be a whole vehicle under all of that, right? We hope not. But if not, why is the main part of it still there? Questions and more questions with this one.

5. Could be worse

Img source: mentertained.com

This could have been much worse than it looks. Imagine if it flipped all the way down. Luckily, it stopped nose first into the right of the cliff above it. The driver probably escaped without serious injuries. The ground under the vehicle had probably collapsed, or the driver paid no attention. It will not be that hard to set it free from the looks of it either, so this story probably had a happy ending.

6. Half the Way There

Img source: mentertained.com

When what you are towing has ended up upside down, you either did a very good thing or a very bad thing. The very good thing is that the driver may have saved himself, while the very bad would be that his tanker is leaking all over the street. If he saved the day, well done to you sir! If not, well, at least he is okay, and it could be worse. In any case, this is an impressive turn of events, and it probably caused quite a few laughs.

7. The Quagmire and the Tractor

Img source: mentertained.com

This poor machine may never see the light of day again. When a piece of quagmire land swallows you this much, there is simply nothing you can do. Since objects fall in slowly, the driver is probably completely safe and sound. His tractor, however, not so much. If there is a piece of stable land around, maybe a crane can pull it out.

8. Wrong-Way

Img source: mentertained.com

Sadly, either poor driving or driving under the influence is to blame here. This small tractor fell down the stairs as a result of the mistake of a driver. It is still in one piece though, meaning the driver is as well. The driver is also lucky enough that there was enough room for him to fit down the stairs, and that the wall stopped him from going who knows how much longer.

9. I think the Bridge will hold

Img source: mentertained.com

It did not hold. From the looks of it, someone was either lazy to check the bridge or went with their gut feeling, which failed them miserably. A crane is the only thing that can save them, but the water is quite shallow from the looks of it, so maybe the vehicle can find its own way out, thanks to the big wheels. Imagine if the bridge were longer, the whole convoy would have plummeted into the water….

10. …And we have a Longer Bridge

Img source: mentertained.com

The fears of the last driver came to fruition for this one. He was lucky, however, as only the heaviest part of his tractor fell in, while the front wheels were still on the wooden platform. He is nowhere to be seen on the picture, probably because he ran out for his life. Another instance of poor planning and bad decision making.

11. That is not how Tractors Work

Img source: mentertained.com

This is rather funny, and we are sure the whole story is even more interesting. However, we simply want to know how did the driver do this, and why? There is more than enough room for the vehicle to go through the tunnel, so how did he end up like this? We will probably never know. Good thing is that this situation is easy to get out of.

12. Yet Another Sunk Tractor

Img source: mentertained.com

Already seen, and already discussed. This quagmire land has given the farmer a tough time, and a hard task to come out of. He is in quite deep, and something much more powerful will need to pull it out.

13. I got you Buddy!

Img source: mentertained.com

Teamwork at its best here. The smaller vehicle somehow ended up in the waters at this beach, but luckily, it has a bigger and stronger excavator friend that will pull it out with a hook. Everything went pretty well here, and nobody got hurt. This is what friends are for!

14. The More the Merrier

Img source: mentertained.com

How many tractors have sunk into wet quagmire land? Too many apparently. Three is a crowd as they say, but this party was already doomed with one tractor. Luckily, there seems to be a scavenging effort already underway in this picture. We hope that yellow excavator can muster enough strength to pull out these stranded machines.

15. Might as Well Take a Photo

Img source: mentertained.com

This worker who is posing with his sunken excavator made the best of a bad situation and shared his misery for comedic purposes with the world. His day on the job is ruined, and he will need help getting his construction vehicle out, but at least he is having some fun along the way!

16. The Tractor is Perfectly Fine here

Img source: mentertained.com

Fortunately for the red tractor, it seems to be in great shape. It has been loaded with a couch that has at least 5 beer kegs roped on it, and it looks like the driver started the party a bit early, while still driving. Unfortunately for him, a ticket is already in the works for driving under the influence. Peep the beer still in hand while the officer is searching for him. Awesome picture all around.

17. Same Old Story

Img source: mentertained.com

We will never escape tractors that have been stuck in deep land here, will we? This one even has dirt inside the cabin, so that is new. Also, it seems like it fell into an already dug up hole, which is arguably worse than sinking into quagmire land.

18. Tractor Swamp

Img source: mentertained.com

This small swamp was in the way of this tractor, evident from the tracks on the grass behind it. The driver probably failed to react on time and went straight into it. Now he must wait for help, and there is already someone behind him so that is a relief. A bigger tractor and a towing mission will do wonders here.

19. Left Side this Time

Img source: mentertained.com

This time around, the earth has only swallowed one side of the tractor. This might have been caused by a storm, as the surrounding field looks rough. Still, it will be extremely hard to get it out of it mostly because there is limited space to equally pull it with enough force from all sides. We hope everything turns out well.

20. Submarine Tractor

Img source: mentertained.com

Joking aside, this CAT excavator has had a rough day. Whether a flood or a driver mistake caused this, it will be hard to pull this one out of the deep water. The cabin cannot even be seen, meaning it is all the way down. Someone will have a rough week at work, and we would not want to be them at all.
