The Famous “Friends” Cliffhanger Happened Because of the Mistake

Fans of the famous TV series ‘Friends’ are all amazed and happy since the book about the unpublished facts has been released. It is called “Generation Friends: An Inside Look at the Show That Defined a Television Era,” and it was written by Saul Austerlitz.

Writers, producers, and actors all gave interviews so the book could be completed. In the book, the writer revealed the famous ten moments that almost didn’t happen. For example, if David Schwimmer (aka Ross Geller) didn’t make one mistake, we wouldn’t have the great ending of the fourth season.

Every fan knows that the episode The One With Ross’s Wedding ended with him saying Rachel’s name instead of his bride’s. According to the writer, the producers didn’t know how to end the season, so David inspired them. In one of the first episodes, he said, “Rachel, the cab is downstairs waiting,” instead of “Emily, the cab is downstairs waiting.”
