4. The Price of the 2021 Tesla Model Y
The 2021 Tesla Model Y crossover is more expensive and larger than the Model 3. The price of the base Model Y begins at $39,000. For this price, you’ll get a crossover which delivers 0 to 60 acceleration in 5.9 seconds and an electric range of 230 miles. However, the base Model Y, which will be the cheapest, will be the last one available. In fact, it is expected to come out in 2021.
The other models, including the Long Range edition, the Dual Motor AWD model, and the Performance model are coming in fall 2020. The Long Range edition will cost about $47,000, while the Dual Motor AWD model will cost $51,000. You will have to pay more than $60,000 for the Performance model, but you’ll get 280 miles of range and 0-to-60 in 3.5 seconds.
