Everything is good with Fast and Furious 9, now that Dwayne Johnson is gone

/

The filming of the movie Fast and Furious 9 has begun, and we can’t wait for it to be finished.

Considering the posts that the cast and director posted on social media everyone is having so much fun. And they are all having fun without their former co-cast member Dwayne Johnson.

There was a bit of a drama surrounding The Rock and his involvement in this franchise. A couple of years ago Dwayne was accused by Tyrese Gibson that he is ruining the whole series, and all because he was trying to make the movie all about himself.

And the fans of this franchise know that the movies are all about Paul Walker, Vin Diesel and Tyrese Gibson himself. Everything went so wrong that Dwayne and Vin Diesel refused to film any scenes together. But now that drama is finished, and Dwayne Johnson is no longer a cast member of the Fast and Furious.

He did make his own spin-off of the Fast and Furious franchise with his fellow colleague Jason Statham, called Hobbs and Shaw. You’ll need to wait for the movie to come out this summer to see if it is good enough like the Fast and Furious franchise.

But when it comes to Fast and Furious 9 there has been a lot of post on social media posted by the film crew. Vin Diesel posted a video he filmed with his co-star Michelle Rodriguez where they celebrated the first day of filming.

Justin Lin tweeted that it feels like home to be back filming. And Tyrese Gibson also posted on his Instagram profile that he is proud to work with 2 powerful women, and one of them is his managed Isabella Castro.

So it seems that everything is going well and that everyone is doing well and that they are enjoying filming the new movie. And it seems like they are not missing Dwayne.

Now we just have to wait for the filming to end and for the movie to hit the theatres.

News about the ninth installment in the Fast and Furious movie franchise

Fast And Furious is a long-running franchise of American action movies, and the upcoming long-awaited ninth film is set to arrive quite soon. The director of the movie is Justin Lin, while the script was written by Daniel Casey.

According to some of the leaked spoilers regarding the story of the movie, Vin Diesel and the rest of the cast members arrived in London for the start of shooting, which is set to start in either May or June. In addition to the series leading star Vin Diesel, the fans are also very curious to find out anything about one other important character, played by Dwayne Johnson. It turns out, however, that Johnson will not appear in the ninth series. This is mostly because he has an upcoming spinoff movie called Hobs & Shaw, where he co-stars alongside Jason Statham. Therefore, the fans have a lot to look forward to.

The actor confirmed this for MTV, saying that, “the plan has always been for the Fast & Furious universe to grow and expand.” Hence, the first of the planned spinoffs. Some reports suggest that he will, however, return for the planned 10th and final installment.

The ninth movie is already in production and has the release date scheduled for April of 2020.

The fans will have to be patient for a bit longer, as the ninth Fast & Furious film is delayed yet again

The long-awaited sequel to the franchise, Fast & Furious 9, has been delayed again. It is not by much, however.

TheWrap reports that the ninth main story movie, and 10th overall if you count the upcoming spinoff, has been pushed back from its original April 10, 2020 release date, to May 22, 2020.

Interestingly, the change does not move the movie away from another big blockbuster set for that period of next year, but closer to them. For example, Warner Bros‘ Godzilla vs Kong, as well as Nickelodeon/Paramount’s third SpongeBob SquarePants movie are both set to premiere around this time.

After she missed the eighth film, Jordana Brewster is back as Mia, the sister of Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto. Last time fans saw her, she went away to live the peaceful married life with Brian, played by the late Paul Walker. What could bring her back?

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is the one who will sit out a movie this time around. However, his spinoff team up with Jason Statham, Hobbs & Shaw, hits theatres in August.

Statham and Johnson are rumored to come back for the final, tenth installment. Before that happens, however, Diesel and Johnson must put their on-set differences behind them. They famously never met on set for the eighth film of the franchise. In addition, it would be great if Johnson can make up with Tyrese Gibson as well. We need the family back together for the final movie to round everything and everyone up.

It Is Very Likely That Dwayne Johnson Won’t Be In Fast & Furious 9

Dwayne Johnson teased fans about upcoming spin-off Hobbs & Shawn, and soon after that, he said he might not be starring in Fast & Furious 9.

„The plan has always been for the Fast and Furious universe to grow and expand. As of now, we’re not in Fast 9 because they’re getting ready to start shooting. But who knows with Fast 10 down the road, you never know. Because, look, at the end of the day, the truth is there’s unfinished business between Hobbs and Dom [Vin Diesel]. It’s unfinished“: Johnson said to MTV News.

It is well known that Johnson and Vin Diesel had a feud, which stopped them from filming together on Fast & Furious 8.

Next to Johnson, in Hobbs & Shaw, Jason Statham will reprise his role from Fast & Furious movies. They will be joined by Idris Elba and Vanessa Kirby.

Johnson hinted that another actor will be joining Fast & Furious team, and that would be Jason Momoa.

On 2nd August 2019, Hobbs & Shawn will be released in cinemas, while Fast & Furious will be released on 20th April 2020.

Famous Actors Didn’t Want To Do These Scenes

Even for the most experienced actors, certain scenes can be a bit “too much“ … Up to a point they refuse to do them. Dwayne Johnson and Emma Watson are just some of the famous professionals who declined to participate in a scene they don’t find appropriate. We have chosen the most interesting cases of actors who didn’t want to cross the line.

Did you know that Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson don’t get along in real life? Apparently, everybody knew that when they hired both actors to shoot 2017’s action movie “The Fate Of The Furious.” In the whole film, you won’t find a single scene Vin Diesel, and Dwayne Johnson shot together. In his interview for the Rolling Stone, the Rock confirmed this statement and added some details about the ongoing disagreement between the two actors. He explained they had a couple of serious discussions in private and they came to the conclusion that the conflict arises from their different approach to work. They have some essential differences in their opinions on acting and cooperation on the set, which makes it difficult to work together. The Rock said there were no hard feelings between the actors exactly because they have clarified their attitudes in a private conversation.

A particularly funny scene in 2013’s hilarious comedy “This is the end” almost could have been the end of Emma Watson’s participation in this movie. James Franco, one of the leading roles, explained to the Interview magazine how it all happened. He didn’t want to name the actress but did confirm the rumors that Emma fled the scene during the shooting because she was upset with Channing Tatum who was supposed to dance in front of her wearing only G-strings. Even though she didn’t have to do anything in this scene and she has read the script before, it was too much. Emma went straight to directors Rogen and Goldberg and explained she couldn’t have done it. They tried to help, but she declined, they offered to do just a test shooting and show her the edit, but one of the former Harry Potter stars still refused to participate and then left the set.

Isla Fisher had an interesting way to deal with the requested nudity of her character in “Wedding Crashers.” Isla wasn’t comfortable with five nude scenes she was supposed to film, so she had a double for breasts, butt, and hand. In her interview for Entertainment Weekly, she explained that when the audience sees a nude character, they start seeing the character as sexual rather than funny. The producers insisted on the nudity, so Isla gave the extra effort to keep her performance great and her character Gloria Cleary funny.

In one of the best blockbusters of 2017, “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” we meet a spy Eggsy, played by the Welsh actor Taron Egerton. One of the scenes required Taron to put a tracking device into the girl Clara (Poppy Delevigne) during sex. Taron refused, so the director Vaughn took Poppy’s husband’s hand for a double and insisted on a scene to be shot. Vaughn later told Uproxx that this scene was necessary to show a moral dilemma of the leading role who has to do something he emotionally doesn’t want to.

Hillary Clinton on the fight between The Rock and Vin Diesel

Even though she’s probably the last person you’d think would get involved in Dwayne Johnson’s affairs in any way, but believe it or not, she actually did so – Hillary Clinton showed up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and agreed to answer some questions from the people behind the scenes.

It all started with one man asking “What is your proudest achievement as Secretary of State?” However, it wasn’t long before it all swiftly dissolved into anarchy and, just like that, some guy outside a doorway was asked her “The Rock? Or Vin Diesel?” And while some might have expected Hillary Clinton to skip such a question, she surprised everyone saying “What a tough question. Boy.”

Of course, he wanted to know which of the two her favorite, and, to this man’s joy, she gave a rather elaborate answer. She said “The Fast and the Furious movies prove that both are masters of high-octane action, and while The Rock is an indispensable part of the later films, Vin Diesel is really the heart and the centre of the Toretto family. And in the end, everyone is better off when they can look past what divides them and work together. You know, I like to say, ‘Stronger Together.’ ”

Not only did she surprise everyone by actually commenting on the subject, but she also left many speechless after giving the wrong answer. How could anyone choose Diesel over The Rock, right? Even Diesel’s fans are well aware that they stand on the dark side. Let’s just remember the feud between the two during the shooting of The Fate of the Furious – clearly, everyone stuck by Johnson, it was simply a more natural thing to do. When you look at the two, it’s quite obvious that Diesel is the one that’s hard to work with. So, no matter how much we all respect Clinton, we have to admit that she may have made the wrong choice this time.
