Millennials Have Instantaneous Exposure to The Beauty Trends

Back in the day, people had to read beauty magazines to keep themselves updated with the latest trends. However, with the advancement of technology, people will know about trends as soon as they emerge in the market.

Social media has provided people with an outlet to follow all the beauty trends in real-time. The fashion trends started by celebrities are broadcasted around the globe daily. Such exposure has a significant impact on how the millennials process information about the latest trends.

Millennials Are Confident to Try Out New Trends

It might sound a bit cliche, but the millennials belong to the confident generation. They are not afraid of trying out anything new, and they carry every trend with style.

They have grown up in a more liberal and tolerant society that readily accepts diverse ideas and general preferences. It is something which was not there in the past. Back in the 60s and 70s, people did not accept new trends and ideas like they are doing today.

The millennials of today’s generation love to embrace who they indeed are. That is one of the many reasons why young women do not think twice before wearing eyelash extensions. They can confidently wear the beauty enhancements, and they do not need anyone’s acceptance for that.

Eyelash Extensions Are Easy and Safe to Use

Eyelashes play an essential role in enhancing the beauty of the eyes. But many women are troubled by the fact that their eyelashes are small. They use extensions to make their lashes look thick and beautiful.

Experts believe that these extensions do not harm natural eyelashes and are entirely safe to use. Also, the millennials belong to a busy generation. They readily embrace anything that removes the clutter from their lives.

While the older generation might have applied mascara and other beauty enhancement, millennials view things differently. These extensions allow them to free up their time and simplify their beauty regime. People need not take much time to wear mascara and fake lashes.

Eyelash Extensions Are Waterproof

You cannot wash your face while wearing mascara and other makeup products. However, that is not the case with eyelash extensions. Experts believe that you can wash your face even after wearing an extension without worrying about them falling off.

Apart from this, you can also go for swimming lessons and take a shower. However, you should always clean the eyelashes once a day with an oil-free cleanser and avoid using saltwater on them.

Precautions While Wearing an Extension

Who does not like thick and beautiful eyelashes? Many types of cosmetic products are used to enhance the beauty of your eyes. But nowadays, these extensions are becoming very popular among women.

Eyelash extensions provide an easy way to make eyelashes thick and beautiful. Nowadays, synthetic, mink, and silk style lash extensions are in trend. They are applied to the natural eyelashes to add volume to them.

Many people also steer clear of these extensions because they fear that the process of installing them is quite dangerous. They fear that wearing them might damage their eyes. It is anything but true. However, it would help if you were careful while using them.

1. Do Not Rub Your Eyes

Do not rub your eyes, or it will cause your extensions to fall out. Also, if they are longer than your natural lashes, you can choose to cut them according to your lashes. It will ensure that your extensions do not look artificial.

To pump up the drama more, you can choose to wear waterproof and smudge-proof mascara. With that, you are good to go to a beach and swim with your extensions.

2. Change the Extensions Regularly

These extensions generally last from six to eight weeks. After that, they naturally start to fall out, just like your natural lashes. If you wear them beyond this period, there are chances of developing alopecia. It might damage your natural lashes and will affect their growth. Thus, make sure to get new extensions after every eight weeks.

Final Thoughts

Eyelash extensions will save you from the trouble of sticking false lashes and wearing mascara every time you step out. With the rise in popularity of permanent makeup, eyelash extension is becoming quite popular among millennials.

It is non-invasive, pain-free, and significantly cuts down the makeup time. Also, they are entirely safe to use. Moreover, they are waterproof. Thus, while wearing them, you will not have to worry about stepping out in the rain or going for your swimming lessons.

The field of education is constantly evolving. Every year we are being introduced to new trends. And the faster technology advances, the quicker these trends alternate.

Apart from technology, there are also a number of other factors that stimulate changes in the educational field. One of such factors turned out to be the ongoing global pandemic.

It forced us to break the traditional academic system and adjust to the new rules. And this fact also brought a number of trends that might be staying for good.

What are the main innovations and trends we’ve seen in the educational sphere in 2021? In this article, we are going to answer this question. Let’s dive in!

Education in 2021: Top 6 Innovations and Trends You Need to Know About

The traditional classroom is long left in the past. Over the past decade, the learning system has transformed completely. Instead of focusing on delivering as much knowledge as possible, today’s teachers focus on engaging students and delivering the best learning experience. And this is only a small part of all the changes that are already there and those that are only evolving.

Although this field is changing constantly, it seems like the past year has brought us the most changes. So, what has 2021 brought to us? To help you keep up with time, we’ve gathered some of the most significant tendencies of the outgoing year.

Online Help

Online academic help has been trending for quite a while. Many students from all over the world have long discovered the benefits of delegating their tasks to professionals. However, in 2021, this trend began to gain momentum even more.

Being unable to get in-person tutoring and assistance really enhanced the demand for online academic help. Online writing services like Essayhelp.com, editing services, freelance tutors – all of these are extremely popular these days. Such services help students stay afloat even in the most complex situations and still perform great at schools.

If you still don’t have such a helper by your side, be sure that you are falling behind. It is an absolute must-have for every student!

Bite-Sized Learning

Young people’s attention span has significantly changed over the past decade. The deeper technology integrated into our lives, the lower got students’ ability to concentrate and stay focused in the classroom. And the problem keeps growing bigger.

According to studies, the average attention span of a modern student is only about 10-15 minutes. This fact forced teachers and schools to look for another approach to training in order to find new ways to engage their students and keep them focused.

This brings us to one more tendency we can observe in 2021. It is bite-sized learning. In a nutshell, this strategy implies delivering the educational materials in smaller chunks. Such an approach allows teachers to make the program appear easier and less intense. At the same time, it makes lessons much more interactive and engaging.

AR

This next trend has been topping for the last few years. As technology evolves, education specialists find more and more exciting ways to integrate it into the learning process. And one of the most innovative and exciting changes we are observing currently is the integration of AR (Augmented Reality) that brings education to a whole new level.

In the nutshell, AR merges virtual and real worlds. The main advantage of AR in the learning process is that it delivers an interactive, hands-on experience and makes the process much more efficient and fun.

With the help of AR, students can look inside the human body, take a trip to space, and learn complex concepts from the inside. And all this can be done right from the classroom. This is one of the best tendencies and we believe it has the potential to stay with us.

Distance Learning

Source:educationcorner.com

One more big shift we’ve seen in 2021 is a global switch to distance learning. This year, due to the lockdown, it was a forced measure. However, it might as well become a new big thing in education.

At this point, distance learning is still in its infancy stage. The global pandemic has shown us that most of the schools around the world were not ready for this change. Many teachers lack the technical background and skills to ensure a smooth and effective workflow in an online environment.

However, those issues can be easily overcome. With some decent training and effort, we can bring distance learning to a new level and that’s when everyone will be able to enjoy all the benefits it can offer.

Being able to study at home can give students enough flexibility. Also, it can make self-paced learning possible, which is also a good thing. Thus, this is one more trend that is out there and, with some slight adjustments, it can transform the field of education.

Exam Management

Source:eswiftsoftware.com

Since so many students were forced to study from home in 2021, many schools have also moved their exams and tests online. This turned into another trend – AI-powered exam management.

This solution turned out to be pretty good in many ways. First of all, it ensures learning continuity by allowing pupils to take their exams from anywhere. At the same time, it is also very beneficial for teachers. Not only does it make it much easier to track students’ performances and monitor tests fairly, but it also allows tracking any signs of cheating.

The Bottom Line: Focus on Soft Skills

Source:innovationatwork.ieee.org

Finally, the last (but definitely not the least important) academic trend in 2021 is the focus on soft skills. For decades schools made emphasis on building up pupils’ hard skills. As of now, everything has changed.

In a modern workplace, soft skills tend to be valued much higher than hard ones. Due to this fact, the academic program is gradually adjusted to help students meet the needs of today’s employers and survive in a highly competitive environment. Schools now focus on preparing new generations for their future careers, and that’s also a great change!

Social Media Integration

One of the most popular marketing industry trends is the integration of social media accounts in other services. Social media has over 3.2 billion active daily users, allowing websites to gain an audience without forcing users to create an account with them.

With an account on the likes of Facebook or Twitter, you can sign into a website and access all of the features as you would with a standard account. Some services will share information between the two, allowing you to easily make posts on multiple platforms.

Chatbots

Chatbots are amongst the newest emerging trends in marketing. These are windows that will pop up on your screen when you visit a website. They’ll allow you to interact with AI to do a variety of tasks.

With a chatbot, you can search for items, speak with someone directly, and ask questions. AI has been developed to the point where it can understand what a person is requesting based on keywords within a phrase.

While the idea of getting popups on each website may sound frustrating, these chatbots only use small portions of the screen. You can close the window at any time, and some websites let you keep them closed whenever you revisit the site.

Live Streaming

While YouTube’s video streaming platform has become a giant in the world of online entertainment, current YouTube trends consist of live streaming. Unlike a standard YouTube video, live streaming isn’t pre-recorded.

One of the ways that content creators attract the attention of viewers is by using thumbnails. Just like a YouTube video, you can add text on photo thumbnails for your live stream, using tools like Adobe Spark.

When you go live, users can interact with you by commenting and donating money. This form of entertainment has become increasingly popular because it gives a way for viewers to directly engage with their favorite content creators.

Real Estate Trends and Practices Around the World

Over a decade on, the global real estate market is still feeling the scars of the so called “Great Recession”. And that’s no surprise, considering the effects of the 2008 crisis on significant markets:

In this bird’s-eye view report, we’re going to provide a quick-fire summary of recent real estate trends (focusing primarily on the residential market), what you can expect from different markets, and some of our own projections for the future. The global real estate industry is still dominated by a select few countries, with the top 20 markets representing over 80% of the total investable real estate. With this in mind, we’re going to stick to some of the aforementioned top players in the global market.

The state of the market(s)

Australia: Australian homes have been a ‘sure thing’ in investment since the turn of the century, with sharp yearly price increases as the norm. We’re only now seeing a slowdown, with Sydney’s market down 4.5% compared to last year.

United Kingdom: Prices in the UK are stagnating following several years of growth, with reports showing a fall of £26.9bn since the turn of the year. Analysts blame Brexit for the recent decline in Britain’s property market. With negotiations with the EU still in the balance, speculators are sitting tight until the situation calms. Theresa May is currently claiming that 95% of the deal is done, but uncertainty remains.

United States: The US is still in recovery mode, with a huge shift from homeowners to renters between 2006-2014. House prices are seeing an upward trend and mortgages are stable, however homeownership is still down over 6% compared to pre-recession levels.

Who’s investing (and borrowing)?

Australia: Chinese investors continue to have an important presence in Australia, with some reports suggesting foreign investment represents over 10% of trade for newly built homes and 5% of resale. The Australian government has also been keen on encouraging local investment, offering strong incentives to first-time buyers. Banks also don’t seem to be worried about an upcoming downturn, with interest-only loans still very common; Lendi’s FAQ guide to Australian home loans highlights the availability of FHOG (First Home Owners Grant) and other loan options you won’t currently find in the United States.

United Kingdom: Young people and low-paid workers are suffering, with renting becoming the norm for millenials. And while London continues to be a popular draw for businesses as the focal point of the European financial scene, things may change following Brexit. Nevertheless, Britain is still popular with foreign investors, with Middle and Far Eastern buyers continuing to pump money into the UK economy.

United States: Young people are struggling to find a presence in the real estate market, with a third still living with their parents in 2105 (up 10% compared to 2005). Difficulty in obtaining credit, growing student loan debts, and unaffordable housing in the cities that have jobs (e.g. San Francisco) all form part of the complex picture. While home prices are finally clawing their way back up, the market is now largely limited to the wealthy and property investors.

What’s in store for 2019 and beyond?

Australia: The boom times may be over for now, with properties not “flying off the shelves” as in previous years. This is partly due to design, however, with Australian authorities curbing lending and increasing taxes for foreign investors to protect local buyers. While we expect that prices will not increase in the double digits we’ve been used to, Australia still offers investors a solid long-term investment opportunity.

United Kingdom: While the base interest rate is expected to rise, mortgage rates should remain low in 2019. The UK economy is still on shaky ground and with inflation creeping upwards faster than income (not to mention the coming Brexit), we don’t expect the situation to change in the coming years. We should also see landlords losing out to first-time buyers, with buy-to-let mortgages dwindling and tax breaks coming to a close. Speculators beware.

United States: We have already seen evidence of a slowdown in prices and we think this trend will continue. The shortage of homes in the lower end of the market will remain a problem, with construction unable to keep up with demand. The thought here is that real estate will continue to be a seller’s market in the United States in 2019.
