The morning Britain star Piers Morgan is furious at people ‘whinging’ that they’re missing their holidays amid the coronavirus pandemic. He told the viewers: ‘Suck it up.’ The presenter talked about people in the UK being advised against ‘non-essential travel,’ and he also pointed out that many of them haven’t been refunded for holidays. However, he does not support anyone complaining about this situation. ‘If you’re missing your skiing holiday, your little beach trip, suck it up, just suck it up,’ he added. ‘This is a national emergency, and the people most at risk are the most vulnerable, the elderly…’ He reminded us that we care about them and ‘not about your damn skiing holiday.’ Strong words.
Besides, Susanna Reid was forced to live stream in the self-isolates because her son started showing symptoms. For now, she is not showing any signs. The star explained: ‘Suddenly, with these new drastic action measures…it meant that if even one member of your household had [symptoms], you would all have to go into self-isolation for 14 days.’ She also added: ‘Immediately I thought I couldn’t go to work and work with you guys.’
Susanna tweeted: ‘I am currently well, but due to the new advice today, I will be self-isolating for two weeks due to symptoms in my household. Stay well, everyone.’
