Hugh Jackman opened up about his hilarious rivalry with Ryan Reynolds. It initially sprung from his friendship with the Green Lantern star’s ex-wife Scarlett Johansson.

In one interview he made, Jackman said that while he could not remember the exact reason why the feud began,  twhe added it had something to do with Ryan’s ex-wife – he and Scarlett were married from 2008 until 2011.

Ryan then went on to marry the actress Blake Lively in 2012. The pair is now parents to three daughters.

‘It’s gone back so long now… God, this is a classic sign where your feud has gone too long, where you don’t even know why or how it started!’ Jackman joked.

‘I met him back on Wolverine, and I used to ream him because I was very close friends with Scarlett.

‘Scarlett had just married Ryan, so when he came on set, I was like, “Hey, you better be on your best behavior here, pal, because I’m watching,” and it started that way.’

Over the two have regularly played jokes on each other, such as teasing in television interviews and scathing social media tweets.

Dwayne Johnson Announced Shutdown of ‘Red Notice’ Due to Coronavirus Concerns

The filming of the upcoming Netflix movie ‘Red Notice’ has been postponed because of the next two weeks because of Coronavirus.

Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds started working on this movie in January, and it should premiere next year.

But due to the global pandemic of Coronavirus, the cast and the crew of Red Notice decided to shut down the filming for at least two weeks, to protect their health. They are not the only ones doing that, many other movies and TV shows, and other projects are shutting down their production for at least two weeks, because of the global situation.

Dwayne shared the whole story through a video on his official Instagram page. Besides being an actor in this movie, he is also a producer, because his Seven Bucks Productions company is working on it, so he has even more responsibilities than other actors. That’s also the reason why Dwayne himself announced the shutdown.

He stated that the most important thing right now is for everyone to stay safe and healthy and to get home to their concerned families. He also added that they would monitor the whole situation so that they can make the best decisions in the future.

There has been some news that Netflix is still going to continue to pay the cast and crew while the filming is on pause. The pause will be two weeks long, but depending on the situation, it may be even longer. Due to that, it’s still unclear will this pause affects the release date.

The world is talking about the new Fast and Furious Spinoff movie, Hobs & Shaw, starring Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, and Idris Elba. However, a surprise appearance by another big movie star is caused joy among fans. Now, there is another story behind it, and we can just say that imitation is among the sincerest forms of flattery and love.

The brief cameo of Ryan Reynolds in Hobbs & Shaw was a complete surprise that audiences never expected. Now that the hit blockbuster has been in theaters for around a week, the secret is out. Reynolds plays the character of Locke, who is a CIA agent and a former colleague of The Rock’s titular character Hobbs.

To show off their bromance, as well as how much fun and enjoyment he had during their time together in the agency, Lock shows Hobbs a tattoo that he had, one that completely matches his own. In real life, sadly, this is not the case. Johnson has chest tattoos, but Reynolds does not, so this was just a fake tattoo for the movie.

Now, we all know that the pair of actors love to joke around and have fun. They did so on social media as well, where they were poking fun at their shared body art. Reynolds, who is 42, posted a cool shot of the two famous actors while they are pulling back their shirts and showing the tattoos. He wrote the following as the caption:

Dwayne Johnson, 47, responded, and told his buddy Reynolds that he really looks “cool and se*y.” He wrote:

“You pull your shirt back to reveal our ink, and it looks cool & se*y. I pull my shirt back, and it looks like an indicator that I eat women and children.”

In further comments about their special bond, Reynolds also shared on Instagram a photo of one half of a “best friend” necklace, in which he tagged Johnson. Johnson went in on the fun and shared a different version of that photo, and thanked Ryan Reynolds for his small but interesting cameo in his hit movie.

Director of the movie, David Leitch, recently revealed to Vulture how the role of Reynolds changed significantly when he agreed to do the unexpected cameo:

“I reached out to Ryan: ‘Dude, I have this exposition scene with the CIA agent. He’s sending Hobbs and Shaw on the journey. It’s a lot of boring exposition. How would you like to come in and play it?’ And he’s like, ‘I would love to! It’d be so fun,’”. David Leitch has already worked with Reynolds, as he is the director behind the fan-favorite comic book movie Deadpool 2.

Leitch continued saying how much Reynolds “re-crafted” the original Agent Locke character:

“I sent him the pages. Doing what Ryan does best, he really re-crafted them into something special that had a ton of jokes and pop culture references and this weird dynamic of this character who’s kind of quasi-obsessed with Hobbs — that’s all from Ryan’s mind. So without approaching Ryan, we never would have had this gold. He created a character that I was hoping would live in this world that’s a little bit more fun-forward than the other Fast franchise.” Could we have expected anything else form a comedy genius like Reynolds?
