Kylie Jenner Showed off her Stretch Marks and the Fans Went Crazy

Kylie Jenner is famous for many things, such as makeup and being the youngest billionaire, but she is not associated with the term “authenticity.”

This time, the 22-year-old decided to let the fans see the real version of her.

On Monday, she posted a clip of herself in a bathing suit, with a butterfly filter, on her Instagram story.

In the video, the star displayed the stretch marks on her breasts.

Stretch marks are normal, and most of us have them, but it is unusual for the photoshop queen to show them off.

However, we are glad she did.

The makeup mogul has talked about the stretch marks she got after she gave birth to baby Stormi in 2018, telling fans that she chose not to remove them, viewing them as “a little gift from Stormi.”

Photo Editing Tips And Tricks For Beginners 2020

If you have decided that it is time to dive into the photography world, the first thing you’ll have to do is to, of course, purchase your first professional camera. Besides learning some photography tips and tricks, there is one thing that you might find confusing and a bit overwhelming as a beginner – editing your picture.

When it comes to using photo editing software such as Photoshop or Lightroom, there are literally thousands of things that you can do with your pictures. However, if you are just starting out, you should first learn some basic things that will allow you to enhance your pictures – and this is exactly what this article can help you with. Let’s take a closer look at the tips and tricks:

1. Learn How to Correct The Exposure

Now, although it sounds quite difficult, it actually is not. Basically, it will require you to create a balance between three important things – the aperture, ISO, and shutter speed. If you manage to get the balance right, you will get a photograph that is perfectly balanced. Hence, there will be no blown details or highlights, and nothing will get lost in the shadows or dark areas.

One of the most useful and powerful tools for determining if you adjusted the exposure properly is to look at the histogram in the program you are using. It shows you the tonal values for the entire image. When you look at it, you’ll be able to see whether it is even or if it needs more adjustment.

To adjust the exposure, all you will have to do is move the sliders to increase the exposure if the picture is dark or you can decrease it if it is bright. If there is overexposure, you can also recover the highlights. Hence, when you first load the picture to the editing program, take care of the exposure first.

2. The White Balance is Important as Well

Although you might know what white balance is, it is still worth mentioning. Basically, the white balance is the adjustment of your camera that reads the temperatures of the light in relation to neutral white. A good balance should represent white to be white as it is naturally, and there should be no colors that can change the, let’s say, the whiteness of the color white.

However, if you will need to find a balance as well. And, just like adjusting the exposure, you can adjust this as well. If you want a warmer or colder white, you can adjust it with the sliders in your editing software. But, there is one thing that you should keep in mind, your images should not be too orange, cold, or yellow since they will not look good.

3. The Easiest Thing to Adjust Will Be The Contrast

When it comes to the contrast of your picture, this is perhaps the easiest thing to learn. Simply said, it revolves around how strong the darker areas of your image are. After you finish the previously mentioned adjustments (contrast + white balance), your images might look a little bit flat and bland.

All it will need is a quick fix on the black areas, any shadows, highlight, and lighter areas. However, you should not cut the white or black if you want more contrast. You can choose to use curve tabs – which is the one that displays a grid with curvy lines – for adjusting your contrast. If you want to see what professionals can help you with, you can check out Background Remove.

4. Noise Adjustment and Sharpening You Pictures

You should also find the tab that will allow you to adjust how sharp your pictures are, as well as the noise levels. Once again, you should not change it too much, slight adjustments are required for this. Now, it is extremely important to view the image at 100 percent, especially since this will allow you to see everything that you are changing.

Another thing that you should pay attention to is the luminance – which revolves around the smoothness of the pixels. You’ll not want to add too much since it will lead to the image losing definition. The colors have to do with the level of RGB pixels and if you make some drastic adjustments, you will either lose colors or make the pixels too saturated.

5. Do Not Be Afraid to Try Presets

Depending on what software you are using, you might be able to locate a preset panel. When learning how to edit your pictures, one of the best things you can do is to experiment with preset colors. This is incredibly fun as well, especially since you can undo your choices, hence, you can always adjust your pictures as you want.

There are presets that you can get for free, however, you can also purchase presets that were created by other people. Now, it is recommended that you first experiment with the free ones. This is especially important if you are just starting out with photo editing software.

Bonus Tip – Do Not Forget to Use The Shortcuts

This is perhaps the most important thing that you will read in this article, especially since it is extremely useful. Do not forget to use shortcuts! Using them will not only save you a lot of time and effort but, it will also allow you to command the program better. For example, if you are using Photoshop, you can simply zoom in by pressing and holding the “H” button. This will allow you to zoom in on a specific area. Hence, try and learn the basic shortcuts that will save you time – and your nerves as well.

As you can see, there are various things that you can do to enhance your images, and by following the tips and tricks from this article, you will be able to get photographs that are perfectly edited. So, now that you know what you can do, do not waste any more time and start trying editing the pictures you took right away!

How To Create Impressive PowerPoint Presentations

Contrary to popular belief, PowerPoint is a program that is far from the clutches of the digital graveyard. Regardless of the device, you’re using to create the presentation, PowerPoint is a type of presentation-making program that has the best chance of you getting your point across.

But it takes a lot of knowledge and skill to create an impressive PowerPoint presentation, and this article will focus solely on that.

Below are out X tips on how to create impressive PowerPoint presentations.

1. Use a Consistent Theme

Themes are a large part of what makes PowerPoint great. It’s safe to say that the theme should be your first priority because choosing a consistent theme can work closely with all of your images and text into creating a masterpiece of a presentation. There are literally dozens of PowerPoint themes on the internet, and all for free. From minimalistic designs to even some specific ones for your niche, you should invest a lot of time into choosing the right theme for your presentation. You can even go as far as to create your very own PowerPoint theme with your company logo and any other marketing materials.

2. Use Images to Get Your Point Across

The best way to make a boring slide more interesting is through the use of images and graphics. According to PSlides, images and graphics get your message across easier than text. The whole point of a PowerPoint presentation is to support you, and not the other way around. So one way you distract your audience away from your speech is by adding text to your presentation.

The human brain is said to process images almost 60,000 times faster than text. So by this logic, we can safely assume that adding a large picture to your slide instead of a text box will get your point across quickly.

3. One Slide, One Story

We use the word “story” very metaphorically because we’re trying to explain the golden rule of PowerPoint. Each slide in PowerPoint should focus on a singular thing. The best presentations are those that describe a singular thing in one slide. So naturally, if you have 10 points to describe through your PowerPoint presentation, then you would need 10 slides for each point. The best presentations are those that tell a story in a single slide.

4. Don’t Overly Use Graphics

Yeah, you might be a pro in creating graphics, but don’t try to impress people with your Photoshop skills by making the text in flames. PowerPoint presentations should be simply made, so try to avoid the usage of complex transitions, complex text fonts, and over-the-top graphics, and instead focus on simple transitions, clean and large fonts, and attractive graphics.

5. If It Doesn’t Work, Then Dump It

We mentioned that slides are there to support your speech, so one you should always ask whether the slide can make your speech better, or worst. If the answer is the former, keep the slide and if the answer is the latter, then dump it.

Nobody wants to see the overuse of slides, and no one will miss the slides that you just deleted from your presentation.

10 Easy Ways to Use QR Codes in Your Marketing

If you’re a small, or large, business, wanting to find new, cost-effective ways of marketing your products, services, or event, then check out QR Codes!

QR Codes are huge in Japan, where they were invented, but are now going worldwide as everybody catches onto QR Codes, something you’ll agree we should have spotted years ago!

Put simply, QR Codes are 1″ images that, when scanned with a smartphone, enable you to hand over your basic information (website, name, address, telephone number), or to take the scanner to your website, buy essay or to a specific product, or even to a discount voucher or special deal.

You’ll be seeing a lot of QR Codes appear in the coming months and years – as everybody will be doing it! And that means you need to.

QR Codes are Easy Peasy

QR Codes are probably the easiest thing to get started with – and it’s zero cost. Beyond this, you’ve some low cost options too, for example you might think they’re fab for your exhibition next week and now want to have some QR Code stickers printed up. However, the cost of a couple of thousand stickers is nothing compared to the savings you’ll make in not having to print glossy brochures off!

How Can You Use QR Codes In Your Marketing?

Well, that’s a big question, sitting face to face with you, I could draw up an entire marketing plan for you, based on your business and your budget (even if your budget were $0). But I’m not. So, instead, I’ve put together these …

Add a QR Code to Your Business Card

OK, maybe not the most exciting thing – and maybe you’ve just had your business cards reprinted, so that’s bad timing and luck, eh! If you have got an existing stock of business cards though, you could think about having QR Code stickers printed for the rear.

A business card has a limited amount of space for you to include all your details without it becoming cluttered. Why not generate a QR code that takes people to your various accounts on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. In fact, anywhere where you have a profile, can now be listed, all contained in the QR Code.

On Your Product Labelling and Packaging

If you’re selling goods, that are re-sold, then across the country people might now have your product in their hand. Maybe it’s a food/drink product in a shop or restaurant, perhaps even in a friend’s house after they bought your produce at a Farmers Market. Maybe you are an artist – and somebody is admiring your work on somebody’s wall; perhaps you exhibit your work in local hotels/bars on the walls – who is looking at that right now?

By attaching a QR code to your labelling and packaging, people can quickly scan it – and they can then be taken to your mobile site, where they can find out more about you, your product range and your contact details. Imagine an artist with 1000 paintings in hotels being able to link somebody looking at one of them to an online gallery of current art for sale!

In Your Shop Window

Your shop isn’t open 24/7 – but your customers are passing by, perhaps window shopping, every day. Ever seen something you want in a window and wished the shop were open? Well, now you can be, virtually.

Simply create an online shop (if you haven’t got one already) and generate a QR code to display on your shop window. With just one quick scan, that passerby could turn into a paying customer!

You could generate another QR Code to put alongside your times of opening, which would take your potential customers to a webpage that you keep updated with your opening times.

Discount Vouchers, Deals and Promotions

These days everybody’s looking for something for free. Consumers increasingly search out special prices, promotions, discount vouchers and freebies. You could create discounts that are specific to your QR codes, which you could then run in adverts, or post them throughout your store.

As a bonus, you could even turn them into a “retweet” so that your shoppers share their discount with their followers.

People will soon start producing lists of shops that offer discounts for smartphone users reading QR Codes – so you might get an increased footfall if you’ve got special discounts just for users of smartphones.

Another way to use this is if you have a stall at an exhibition centre, or a large marketplace.

If you advertise regularly in newspapers, you can always direct people to the current offers, which you can change on the fly … or, use the QR codes to monitor responses.

Stick Your QR Code Onto Your Phone and Laptop

Make sure you’re not missing out on the obvious. Get your QR Code (probably as a sticker) stuck onto your smartphone or laptop – and any other device that you always carry with you. This way you’ve always got your ‘business card’ with you. Aside from that – if you lose your phone or laptop, it might just be the way that you’re reunited with it!

Get a Custom Made QR Code That Stands Out

Use Photoshop to Alter the QR Image

While a QR Code needs to be scannable, there is a tiny opportunity for you to create a custom look to yours. It is possible to ‘fiddle a little’ with the code, so it generates something similar to your logo or initials. You can try to do this using an image editing tool like Photoshop and see if you can fit your own logo or brand into the QR Code.

Warning: Always test your results on a few phones before you start publishing it, in case you’ve mucked it up 🙂

POS Customer Information

If you’re a shop selling goods, or a gallery selling art, consider generating a QR Code for each of your products, to provide more customer information at the Point of Sale. Ever been in shop, seen something and wondered how it’s used, but don’t want to undo the box or call an assistant over? A QR Code could take a smartphone owner straight to a webpage containing a demonstration video.

Ever wandered round an art gallery and wanted to know more about the artist? A QR Code could take them to a full life story, or to be directed to more of their works within the gallery.

Do you sell fresh food at a Farmers Market? Produce a series of online recipes – and a QR code beside each of your foodstuffs taking your customers to a recipe page, or information page. Perhaps even a video of the dish being made and some photos.

You don’t have to make the videos yourself, for many businesses a video found on YouTube would fit their needs.

Or how about linking the customer through to an independent Reviews site so they know which to choose.

Get More Subscribers

If you’ve got an email subscriber list, or send out Newsletters, why not create a QR Code containing the sign up link. Enabling people to instantly sign up for your Newsletter.

Or if you’re running a draw. A QR code can link people straight into your draw entry page.

Call Me!

A QR Code can even be generated to make a phone call. By scanning your QR Code people are instantly connected to your business or offer. You could use this in local advertising. How about a hair salon inviting people to call now by scanning the QR Code! Or conservatory salespeople inviting people to call for an appointment.

Quite simply, if your best way of getting business is to get people to call you, then that’s what your QR Codes need to enable them to do.

Tell A Friend

Ever been out somewhere and thought “Oh, I wish xxx could see this, it’s perfect”. Whether you’re a small shop owner, or a market stall holder, you can bet your bottom dollar people are thinking this. In fact, you’ve probably heard it loads of times before. If you do hear it, maybe you said “Here, take my card, pass it on to your friend” – but what are the chances of that card ever reaching that person – and the card simply isn’t the product.

Generate a QR Code enabling a smartphone user to “Tell a Friend” – they can instantly send your details, a photo of the product, or a product sales page, to their friend by several methods.
