The verse-chorus formula is notable in popular music, thus having different basic structures. This includes:

  1. Introduction
  2. Bridge passages just to fill the gap between verses and choruses
  3. Instrumental sections
  4. Middle eights

Middle-eights consist of eight-bar sections that introduce new stuff in the form of lyrics, chords, melody, and rhythm.

Hooks and riffs are also characteristic of pop music. This helps the listener stuck to the song longer. This includes the repetition of music and tones that provide a relaxing sensation to its listener.

Popular music has mainly two aspects. Some of them are scribbled at slow speed and some lyrical tracks are written at a high-speed tempo up to 160 beats per minute. This is the situation where the pop music genre is divided into two themes of music whether for listening or dancing.

Dennis Rodman’s Marriages and Children

Back in the late eighties and late nineties, Dennis Rodman was a big name in the world of basketball. At first, he was a member of a great generation of Detroit Bad Boys. Later, he was a part of a legendary generation of Chicago Bulls,  alongside names like Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Scottie Pippen, etc. He established himself as one of the best basketball players of all time. Even legendary Jordan gives him credit for his intelligence and ability.

There are a lot of terms that can be used for describing Rodman’s personality, but mainly he is known as an erratic, eccentric, and an overall interesting character. At the same time, controversies surrounding his private life are pretty close to his sportsman career. He married several times and many of them didn’t have a happy ending. Read on to find more interesting things about his private life.

How Many Marriages Does He Have Behind Him?

While he still was a basketball player, he was in relationships with several celebrities like Vivica A. Fox, whom he married later, and Madonna. Back in 1998, he married Carmen Electra in a private ceremony in Las Vegas. Their relationship was complicated from the start because she lost her sister and mater just before the ceremony. This marriage lasted for about half a year. Several years later, she stated that her marriage to Dennis Rodman was a response to her emotional pain after sister and mother died.

Many people don’t know that this was his second marriage. Before Carmen Electra, he was married to Annie Bakes. They started dating back in 1987, and they set a date for their wedding day in 1992. However, it was canceled at some point. The reason for this was a mystery for some time. Ultimately, Annie Bakes stated that she decided not to marry him after they stopped going to couple therapies together. At first, Rodman agreed to seek a couple counselor, but he declined in the end.

Between 2000 and 2003, Rodman stopped playing basketball and tried to focus on other projects in his life. During this break, he married his third wife, Michelle Moyer, in 2003. One year after, she decided to file for divorce. However, they tried to improve their relationship for almost a decade. In the end, they finally divorced back in 2008.

How Many Kids Does Rodman Have?

Dennis Rodman is a father of three children. Two of them with Michelle Moyer and one with Annie Bakes. His oldest child is Alexis, a daughter he has with Annie Bakes. She was born in 1988. Even though Rodman struggled with alcoholism during her childhood, they have a solid relationship. Moreover, a couple of years ago, she gave birth to a son Vincent. Rodman was ecstatic about becoming a grandfather.

His children with Michelle Moyer are DJ and Trinity. DJ was born in 2000 and Trinity in 2001. Back in 2018, Dennis Rodman celebrated his first month without a drink. He stated that his biggest motivation is to see his kids grow up. At the same time, he wants to help them succeed in their careers in soccer and basketball. His son DJ plays as a forward for Washington State Cougars. His daughter, Trinity is a member of the US Women’s National Team.

He addressed these problems in an interview for Page Six. He stated that he just wants to be present while his kids are growing up. Moreover, he talked about he wants to stop partying and that he needs to take a good look at his life from a healthy perspective and re-evaluate his way of living.

Rodman’s Father and His Kids

Maybe you didn’t know that Dennis Rodman’s father had 29 kids. More interestingly, he had all of these kids with 16 different women. He wasn’t in good relationship with his father for more than four decades. However, they met back in 2006 and they reconciled. Rodman stated that he tried to meet his father for a couple of years. He was pretty happy to close this chapter in his life.

How Did Dennis Rodman Lose His Money

Dennis Rodman was always an interesting character, both on and off the pitch. He represents a combination of talent, wildness, and passion. A former basketball had an exceptional career. For example, he was a part of the legendary generation of Chicago Bulls where he was ranked pretty high despite the names of Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan. He has the nickname “The Worm” for some reason. His everyday life was strange to the public back in the day. However, this kind of behavior is regarded as gender identity changes, who are accepted as fluid. He even wore a wedding dress in order to promote his autobiographical book called “Bad as I Wanna Be”.

He often had a strange color of hair, which sometimes looked like it has all of the colors of the rainbow. When it comes to his personal life, he was hanging around Carmen Electra, who he married at some point, and Madonna. Because of his great talent for basketball and his unusual appearance, he was able to earn a significant amount of wealth over the years. At the zenith of his popularity, he had more than $27 million. Today, according to the sources for 2020, his net worth is around $500,000. He didn’t have enough moments to pay child support to his children. You probably ask yourself what led to the bankruptcy of, at one time, one of the most popular people of his time.

He Fell for a Financial Scam

It looks like one of the most significant losses in his life wasn’t his fault. He trusted a person he shouldn’t. He was just one of many sportsmen who were scammed by a woman who was pretending to be a financial advisor. Her name is Peggy Ann Fulford, and she managed to scam several celebrities with her fake Hardware diploma. They were pretty close and he even dedicated the speech he gave on Hall of Fame back in 2011. He thanked her for taking care of his finances.

At one point, he wondered why his electricity was cut off in his home in Florida. After this occurrence, he managed to recognize all of the dangers of his financial advisor. When the situation was resolved, we witness several statements from people close to him who were talking about him being unable to pay insurance payments and alimentation for his children. The climax occurred when he took control of his finances and was sentenced to ten years in prison for transportation of stolen property.

Legal Troubles and Fines

All of this information doesn’t mean that he didn’t have some high expenses in several fields. Back in 2012, he owed more than $850k for spousal and child supports. At the same time, he was spending too much money on alcohol and strip clubs. However, it’s not know how much of his money was lost in the scam and how much he spent on other things in his life.

At the same time, he had some serious legal problems. He was indicted for DI and he paid $2,000. He was arrested with his ex-wife. Back when he was a sportsman, he needed to pay $200,000 after he kicked a referee in a match. Later, he was fined for leaving his team in the 1998’s playoffs. Even though he had many controversies throughout his career, he is still considered to be a great athlete. Michael Jordan, at one point, stated that he is one of the smartest and best players he played with. Because of his lifestyle, it’s no surprise that he had financial struggles for almost his whole life.

Madonna Wanted to Pay Rodman to have a Baby with him

The most controversial basketball player in history? Does anyone think of a name other than Dennis Rodman?

From the outward appearance to the off-field behavior, the way he played basketball, he never had the usual word for him. The anecdotes with them or that he chooses to share are truly endless, but we will list some that say how crazy a famous basketball player he is.

He is often called a unique celebrity, which is not surprising because you have hardly ever met and even heard of someone so extravagant. He became famous in the NBA for his uncompromising, athletic ability and the intensity with which he played every match. You could never see less than 100 percent of it, but you could expect at least one basketball per game – in the words of the bookmakers! He was never overly dangerous on offense, but he always bought all the rebounds, wherever the balls bounced.

Then came the time to say goodbye to the Bad boys in the Detroit Pistons, who, with Isaiah Thomas and Laimbeer, knew how to beat teams to take the ring. The episode is out in the San Antonio Spurs when it begins its relationship with Madonna.

Like everything in his life, the connection with the famous singer was tumultuous and full of surprises.

– Madonna told me that if she were pregnant, she would give me $ 20 million. I went to gamble in Las Vegas when she called me because she was ovulating at that point. I’ve been there in five hours! – said the celebrated basketball player.

Then he comes to the Chicago Bulls with whom he has won three rings, and interestingly off the field has not communicated with either Scottie Pippen or Michael Jordan for three years.

These are just a few of the exciting and shocking things about the life of a controversial basketball player who never ceases to fascinate with his lifestyle.
