Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom function just perfectly, and their secret is quite simple: “a little space.”

In Tuesday night’s episode (March 25) of American Idol, Perry had the role of judge for couple Jonny West and Margie Mays. After their performance, which did not go so well, Katy shared an essential part of her relationship with Orlando Bloom that helped them succeed as a couple. They respect each other by offering some space whenever necessary.

“One thing that’s going very well in my current relationship—yes, I did secure the ring—one thing I have noticed that is areally helpful is giving each other a little space,” she said. “In this competition, it’s great to have understanding and partnership and to be teammates and support each other. But this time is about fulfilling your personal dreams. Just know your priorities right now because I think both of you kind of suffered in what you showed a little bit. We know you’re both better than what you gave, okay?”

It seems to be good advice since Perry and Bloom are expecting their first child together. Katy announced the news in her “Never Worn White” video, where she displayed her baby bump. Since then, she has been very open about her pregnancy as well as about her relationship with Orlando.

Even though it sounds like a great idea, they will have to spend a lot of time together for their little one.

On the International Women’s day, Katy Perry performed live the very first time after revealing that she and Orlando Bloom are expecting their first child.

Katy shined in a pink dress, showing off her baby bump at the ICC Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup Final. After seeing her outfit, some fans are speculating that the 35-year-old pop star hopes for a girl.

Katy sang numerous hit songs, such as Roar and Firework. She wore two combinations. The first outfit was a light pink retro dress with neon Venus symbols and pink latex boots.

She then changed into a tight purple dress, also with a Venus symbol, in which her baby bump appeared even more noticeable than we saw earlier.

Her dancers were wearing pink cricket bat costumes, and fans are comparing it to her Super Bawl performance in 2015, where the dancers were dressed as sharks.

Big news! Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are expecting their first child. Her new music video, “Never Worn White” came out recently. In the video, you can clearly see a pregnant Katy and fans were confused.

Later that day, in an Instagram live video, the 35-year-old singer confirmed that she is pregnant and that she will be, as it seems, releasing a new album this summer.

“Not only will I be giving birth, literally, but also figuratively to something you guys have been waiting for. So let’s just call it a double whammy. It’s a two-for,” she said.

A source told E! News that Katy and Orlando are planning on having two weddings this summer. “They have the guest list figured out and many of the details,” the source continued. Is the wedding what Katy referred to when she said she is giving birth two times this summer, or is she releasing a new album? We’ll see.
