Dwayne Johnson, a megastar actor known also as The Rock, organized a secret ceremony in Hawaii last Sunday.
He published this happy news on his Instagram profile where he has more than 154million followers. Dwayne posted a picture of him and his wife and wrote “We do. August 18th, 2019. Hawaii. Pomaika’i (blessed).”
Some sources say that he is a potential US president. This famous actor and wrestler is now married to Lauren Hashian, a 34-year-old beautiful singer and songwriter. Together they have two children, Jasmine, and baby Tiana. This marriage is the cherry on top of their happy family life.
Dwayne Johnson is the second highest-earning man in Hollywood, right after George Clooney. He was noticed by many movie producers as a great man for performance and showing off his strength.
“He is as close to guaranteeing you butts in the seats as anybody can be,” said Ron Meyer, the chairman from NBC Universal. His movies have earned over 8.2billion dollars so far, which is why he is one of the highest-grossing box office stars that has ever existed.

During The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2017 Dwayne said that he was “seriously considering” running for president of USA. After that show many people supported him, and then he said: “I can tell you with all honesty that the consideration comes at the desire from a large number of people that would like to see this happen.”
He confirmed he had met with various political experts, such as Republicans, Democrats, independents, many strategists, and others. “Let me go to work and learn,” Dwayne added.
His 2019. net worth is about £136million. Although he had a chaotic childhood because of his father’s wrestling career, he managed to become very successful.
His father, Rocky Johnson, was a member of the first black tag champion team in 1977. Dwayne’s mother Ata’s parents were also involved in wrestling.
He grew up as a poor child and they all lived in a one-room apartment.
“I know what it’s like to earn a dollar. I know what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck and wonder how you’re going to pay the rent. I know what it’s like to be evicted. Money doesn’t fall out of the sky,” Dwayne said. He also added that his mother tried to commit suicide in front of him when he was a teenager.
“She got out of the car on Interstate 65 in Nashville and walked into oncoming traffic. Big rigs and cars were swerving out of the way. I grabbed her and pulled her back on the gravel shoulder of the road. What’s crazy is that she has no recollection of it whatsoever. Probably best she doesn’t. We both healed but we’ve always got to do our best to pay attention when other people are in pain. We have to help them through it and remind them they are not alone,” he said.
Dwayne Johnson wasn’t always a nice guy. When he was very young he was known as a trash-talking and rude person. That changed quickly and wrestling star Hulk Hogan named him the “biggest superstar in the business”.
Dwayne’s first movie role was in the 2001 sequel called The Mummy Returns. He got noticed due to his success in the ring. He appeared in the film for only a couple of minutes, but amazed the public so much he later got a spin-off prequel of his own titled The Scorpion King.
He has the talent to get noticed by big-budget franchises, which is why he started to work on The Fast And The Furious project in 2011. That year this movie had a highest-grossing opening that had ever been made.
The Rock has since appeared in a couple of their movies, including the spin-off Hobbs & Shaw. He also got in a decade-long feud with his co-worker, actor Vin Diesel.
He criticized Vin’s unprofessional behavior during the making of the eighth movie on social media.
Dwayne said in an interview: “Vin and I had a few discussions, including an important face-to-face in my trailer. And what I came to realize is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach movie-making and collaborating. It took me some time, but I’m grateful for that clarity, whether we work together again or not. I wish him all the best, and I harbor no ill-will there, just because of the clarity we have.”
“Actually, you can erase that last part about ‘no ill will’. We’ll just keep it with the clarity,” the actor added.
In 2007 Dwayne divorced with his ex-wife Dany Garcia, after ten years of their marriage. Soon after that, he began dating Lauren. Dwayne and Dany Garcia have an 18-year-old daughter Simone.
He now lives a happy life surrounded by his new family and millions of dollars. He enjoys being famous and respected by the American public.
