Mix vinegar and lemons in a 50:50 ratio to get rid of the smell, and leave it for two weeks. Eventually, you will have a homemade disinfectant without spending any money.
Ecological disinfecting spray
If waiting for two weeks is too long for you, you can swap out lemons for essential oils.
Make an aromatherapy disinfectant at home by following these steps:
- Mix 1/3 of alcoholic vinegar and 2/3 of distilled water and put the liquid in a spray bottle
- Add 10-15 drops of lemon essential oil
These sprays are also effective for disinfecting your hands as well as surfaces.
