The rivalry between Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger fueled some of the best action movies of the 80s and early 90s. The two spent the most of the decade continually trying to beat each other with bigger guns, better kills, and more muscle definition. Similar movies such as Commando and Rambo: First Blood Part II both came out in the year 1985, meaning the stars were fighting for the box office revenue.
Today, these two legends are great friends. However, people often ask them about their competitive days. This topic was inevitable to come up since Schwarzenegger is currently promoting his newest Terminator movie.
Both of these actors are extremely funny. Stallone even photoshopped Schwarzenegger to look shorter than him in a photo he posted on Instagram. Like, a lot shorter. “For years, people have thought Arnold was taller than me,” he captioned it, “now, THE TRUTH CAN BE TOLD!”
It’s all for fun, of course. The two actors are great pals. Stallone, 73, even recently wished his friend a happy 72nd birthday.
