The WHO has been collecting data during the entire coronavirus pandemic, and they state that the majority of patients experienced a sore throat, nasal congestion and diarrhea. Around 13% also experienced debilitating headaches according to the joint reports of China and the Who. That poses a question: Is a headache a reason for concern?

The answer is no – it is not an official coronavirus symptom, and unless you experience other confirmed symptoms it is not a good enough reason to start suspecting the worst.
Some people have described their experience of living with the coronavirus on Twitter. One user wrote that he can barely breathe – whenever he breathes deeply, he starts coughing and his head feels like it’s going to explode. Another user claimed that it all started with a headache and dry coughing.

So, if you have a mild headache, don’t panic just yet.
