Charlie Collier, Fox Entertainment CEO couldn’t hide his excitement when asked about the possibility of having a new Beverly Hills’ 90210 series on the network.
He said that he would love Fox to be considered home for the series if it was coming to market.
This project features most of the original cast of Beverly Hills, 90210. When it comes to deal for this project, as it was reported before, Fox seems to be the most passionate about it since it also aired the 1990s staple.
Collier opened his first TCA executive session in which he revealed that Melrose Place and 90210 are among his favorite Fox series of all time.
Additionally, Tori Spelling, 90210 alumna revealed details about the series in which she acts alongside her former castmates Jennie Gart, Ian Ziering, Jason Priestley, Brian Austin Green, and Gabrielle Carteris. She described it as ’not exactly a reboot’, since she feels like everyone has seen it. No one wants to see old versions of themselves- they are trying to play heightened versions of themselves but as same characters.
The new Beverly Hills, 90210 was recorded in December, and it was created by writers and executive producers Mike Chessler and Chris Alberhghini. He also worked on CW’s 90210 reboot and series So Notorious.
