Ezra Matthew Miller is one of the most prominent actors in the world right now. Born on the 30th of September in 1992, Miller rose to prominence with his debut in Afterschool in 2008 and has since gone on to become one of the biggest names in Hollywood. Ezra Miller was born and raised in the small town of Wyckoff in New Jersey. He has two older sisters, Saiya and Caitlin. His mother, Marta Miller, is a modern dancer, whereas his father was the senior vice president and the managing director of Hyperion Books. However, he later took up a job as a publisher in Workman Publishing.

While his father was Jewish, Miller’s mother shares Dutch and German ancestry. However, Ezra Miller identifies himself as a Jew and states that he is incredibly spiritual. Things weren’t always rosy for him, because he was born with a speech impediment which made it difficult for him to hold conversations. In order to overcome his speech impediment, his parents decided to give him training as an opera singer. He soon became good at opera and has also sung with the Metropolitan Opera, and even performed at the American premiere of White Raven, by Philip Glass.

He studied at the Rockland Day County School, and after graduation joined The Hudson School. He was just 16 when the movie Afterschool came out, shooting him to stardom. Instead of completing his studies, Miller decided that he was going to focus full-time on his acting career, and decided to drop out. He is the only son of his parents.

Afterschool was directed by Antonio Campos, who saw Miller’s potential and decided that he was great for the part of Robert, a young teenager who was obsessed with internet video. With his boyish looks and youthful charm, Miller was just the right choice for the character. In the movie, he is shown to accidentally film the deaths of his two classmates and is soon asked to direct a memorial video.

He received a lot of praise for his acting and it wasn’t long before the offers started to come in. He was cast in City Island which was released the next year, and in 2010, he did Every Day and Beware the Gonzo. In 2011, he got one of his big breaks, working in a BBC movie with the likes of Tilda Swinton and John C. Reilly in the movie We Need to Talk About Kevin. It wasn’t long before offers started coming in for television, and he joined the Showtime comedy known as Californication as a character named Damien.

He also played a role in the smash hit The Perks of Being a Wallflower as Patrick, and was also in Royal Pains. From there onwards, there was no looking back for Miller, and he has worked on some of the biggest blockbusters that Hollywood has produced in the past decade. He was one of the main antagonists in the Harry Potter spin-off titled Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and was then cast as the Flash in the Justice League movies. He also played a role in the Suicide Squad and the movie that laid the foundation for the Justice League, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

He is all set to take up the mantle of Flash again in his solo movie called Flashpoint, the production for which is expected to begin in 2020. Apart from acting, Ezra loves to sing and has even played the drums and done work with no numerous musical records. The Sons of an Illustrious Father, a musical group, has him as a member.

Since debuting in 2008, Miller’s extensive acting has landed him quite a decent nest egg, with his net worth estimated to be around $1 million in 2019. Unlike many other celebrities who have quickly gone on to live in massive mansions and houses, Miller prefers living in a family house in Wyckoff, New Jersey. However, as his fame continues to grow, it remains to be seen if he will continue living in the same house, or move to Hollywood permanently.

There has been a lot of debate about Miller’s gender identification. In 2010, he was dating Zoe Kravitz, the daughter of famous singer Lenny Kravitz. They appeared together on screen in a movie known as Beware the Gonzo, which brought them close together. They announced their relationship soon after and were often seen together off-screen.

However, just a year later, they broke off, and Ezra hooked up with Lauren Nolting. Nolting is an American photographer. They only dated for a couple of months before calling it quits. They had met through a mutual friend. Throughout 2012, he didn’t date anyone, until he met Erin Urb. In 2013, the pair began dating. Urb is 6 years his senior, and the two decided to announce their engagement in 2014. They broke it off in 2016. Currently, he is single.

In an interview he did with Out magazine, Miller announced himself as queer. According to him, calling him gay would be presumptuous since he has been most attracted to the opposite se*, but he states that many of his friends are attracted to different genders and have other se*ual orientations. He states that he loves them all and said that he is open to love from all sources.

In another interview, he also stated that he tried kissing boys in school as he wrestled with his se*ual identity, and he has openly admitted that he loves kissing guys too. Miller has also stated that he uses his own pronouns, and changes them frequently. He was openly in support of the #MeToo movement, stating an instance from his younger days in Hollywood when he was approached. “They gave me wine and I was underaged. They were like, ‘Hey, want to be in our movie about gay revolution?’ And I was like, ‘No, you guys are monsters,” he said. Ezra Miller is a shining star in Hollywood, and his fame is only going to grow with time.
