NFL star Earl Thomas was held at gunpoint by his wife Nina after she allegedly discovered him with other women. According to a source, the shocking incident occurred in the early hours of April 13, when the 31-year-old Baltimore Ravens safety was confronted by his spouse Nina at an Airbnb in Austin, Texas.
Nina pointed a 9mm Berreta at her husband’s head, before he managed to wrestle the weapon away from her. Police arrived to the scene, and Nina was arrested for burglary of a residence with the intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Later she was subsequently released from custody.

According to a police report, Earl and Nina had been arguing about his drinking habits on April 12, before his brother Seth picked him up. After that, Nina allegedly logged into his Snapchat account and noticed a video of him with another woman. Then she used the account to track him to a nearby Airbnb rental and invited two of her girlfriends to come with her.
Nina said she took Earl’s 9mm Berreta pistol with the intention to ‘scare him.’ When she arrived at the rental, Nina reportedly ‘discovered Earl and his brother Seth naked in bed with other women,’ at which point she pulled out the gun and put it to her husband’s head.
Earl shared a snap to Instagram on April 12 – just hours before he was reportedly caught in bed with other women. Nina thought ‘the gun could not fire’ because she ‘took out the magazine.’ However, that weapon still had a round in the chamber. An onlooker inside the rental home made a video of the incident, which shows Nina pointing the gun at Earl’s head ‘from less than a foot away, and it can clearly be seen that her finger was on the trigger and the safety is disengaged.’ Earl wrestled the gun away from Nina before she struck him in the nose. One of Nina’s friends was allegedly holding a knife. Police arrived at around 3.41 am and arrested Nina and her two friends. Earl was not taken into custody.
Nina allegedly discovered Earl naked in a bed with multiple women and his brother. The incident happened just a week after he was selected in the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade team. After the scandal broke on Wednesday – just hours before his 31st birthday – Earl shared a video to Instagram, stating: ‘Stuff like this happens. Pray for us as we go through this. We’re back talking. I’m seeing my kids’. Earl and Nina are high school sweethearts who tied the knot in 2016 and have three children together.
