‘Nickyanka’ tied the knot as per Hindu and Christian traditions at Jodhpur on December 1. The celebration took place in the Umaid Bhavan Palace. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were surrounded by family and closest friends on their special day.
We have all been impatiently waiting for some pictures when the newlyweds released their breathtaking wedding photos. The couple shared the dreamy pictures of their Christian and Hindu wedding on Instagram. As soon as the pictures were published, The Rock congratulated on their marriage.
Even though it was widely speculated and rumored that Dwayne Johnson would also be part of the wedding, the actor was nowhere to be seen. The Rock co-starred‘Baywatch’ with Priyanka and ‘Jumanji with Nick Jonas.
In fact, in an interview earlier this year, The Rock revealed that it was he who has all the credit for them being a couple as he introduced them. He said “Are they happy? Well then, I take credit. Baywatch and Jumanji. I did it, yes. If they’re happy.”
Although there is no official information on whether or not The Rock was part of the wedding, he wishedall the best to the newlyweds on social media. In fact, he wrote: “Congrats fam! So happy for you two. xoxo @nickjonas”
Besides Dwayne, there were many other congratulatory messages for the newlyweds. For instance, Paris Hilton wrote a comment on their dreamy pictures “Congratulations, beautiful,”, actress Elizabeth Chambers also left comments on both pictures that Priyanka posted and the comments were “soulmates” and “forever”. Jonathan Tucker, who allegedly was part of the wedding also wrote in Hindi, “Bahutsaaraashirwad.” The newlyweds received lovely wishes from many colleagues, co-workers, and friends, including Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Neha Dhupia, Esha Gupta, and Daisy Shah.
