in Entertainment by

Sylvester Stallone’s franchise finale, Rambo V: Last Blood, is soon to be released and everyone seems to be hyped up. However, it seems like no one is more excited than Dwayne Johnson for the upcoming Rambo movie.

Recently, Sylvester Stallone, who plays his final turn in the title role, shared a behind-the-scenes video from the anticipated sequel. In the video, Stallone walks the crew through a planned action sequence while he kills one enemy with a sawed-off shotgun. Then, he stabs another through the head with a spear and preparing to lop off another’s leg.

Action movie star Dwayne Johnson didn’t miss an opportunity to post a comment on the clip, quoting Stallone on-set and voicing his approval. ‘Drop the spear, dive and get ready to cut his leg off.’ Fu*k. Yes.’ he wrote and added a number of emojis.

Sylvester Stallone is one of the biggest American action movie stars together with Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, Dwyane Johnson has also earned his place alongside these action movie icons. As we can see from The Rock’s reaction to Stallone’s Instagram clip, Dwayne will definitely be in the audience for the last ride of John Rambo.

According to Stallone, the final part of the franchise is focused on what happens when a soldier comes home. ‘In every film, Rambo never goes home, he goes out to the jungle or Afghanistan. In the new one, he does come home, but in a way he never arrives. He’s there, but he’s not. That’s what the whole story is built around. As soon as he walks outside his door, he has no more control. The world controls you,’ he shared.

Rambo V: Last Blood is directed by Adrian Grunberg, while the script was written by Sylvester Stallone and Matt Cirulnick. The movie stars Sylvester Stallone, Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta and Yvette Monreal.
