Dwayne made a surprise appearance at a screening of “Fighting with My Family” at Regal Atlantic Station
“Fighting with My Family” is a movie that Dwayne Johnson produced and stared in, and it is based on a true story about Saraya Bevis, who is now a WWE superstar.
‘The Rock’ shared a lot of positive feedback about the movie on his social media accounts and he also revealed that he will go to a screening of the movie in Midtown, Atlanta.
The crowd got really surprised even though he announced on the social media that he will be there. He also wrote on his Instagram that he is very thankful for all the love and support that he got from everyone, and that he is going to return that love at a screening of “Fighting with My Family” at Regal Atlantic Station.
And how did Dwayne get into this whole story?
When he was filming “Fast and Furious 6” in London, back in 2012, one night he watched a documentary by the U.K.’s Channel 4 about Saraya Bevis and her wrestling family. The documentary was called “The Wrestlers: Fighting with My Family”.
Dwayne fell in love with the story about Saraya, stage name Paige, and he immediately knew that it is a great story for a movie.
Because he has his own successful production company, Seven Bucks Productions, he knew that he will make an incredible movie about Paige, her family, and their story.
The reason Dwayne connected with Paige and her story is that he also comes from a family of wrestlers, and in her story, he saw his own. His father, grandfather and his uncles were wrestlers, and his mother was a promoter of this sport.
The story focuses on Paige and her brother Zak and their chance to become a part of the WWE world. Once only Paige got the spot in the competitive training program the problems arise. She needs to focus on her path and to prove the world that she can be a WEE superstar. She must leave and fight for her family and fight for her own spot alone.
