Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock opened up about his relationship with Kevin Hart, his Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle costar. Seems like their bromance is going downhill.
During an interview with the ET’s Brooke Anderson at Tuesday’s Time 100 Gala in New York, Dwayne said, ‘It’s called envy and jealousy and unfortunately Kevin and I, we’ve done multiple movies together, and that’s where our relationship has sunk to. It has devolved into jealousy and envy and he looks at me and has this look in his face like, ‘I don’t want to be around you,’ and he slowly eats his Doritos when he looks at me. But it’s okay because I go over to him and I’m like, ‘Hey buddy, yeah — get a laugh out of everybody.’
It has been reported that Kevin has eaten many Doritos during the set of Jumanji, even besides his efforts to eat healthier. Except this, Dwayne admits his impatience for the sequel and he is looking forward for fans to see it. The shooting for the Jumanji sequel is currently taking place in Hawaii, Atlanta, New Mexico, and Calgary. It seems like the cast is having the time of their life while filming it.
Nevertheless, The Rock was able to escape the set for short and be home for his daughter’s first birthday.
‘I was just so happy to be home and be able to celebrate with my baby girl,’ admitted Johnson, ‘I have three beautiful daughters and I’m the luckiest guy.’
If you didn’t know, Dwayne was one of the six people featured on the cover of Time magazine for the publication’s latest Time 100 list. He came to the Time 100 Gala in New York wearing a Ralph Lauren Purple Label double-breasted dark camel suit from the Fall 2019 collection.
He also admitted that he never dreamed or even imagined that he would be on the cover of Time magazine. However, this was a very meaningful thing for him and showed him that hard work pays off. When Dwayne was named one of the Time 100, Gal Gadot, his Fast and Furious costar, provided an essay honoring the actor. She wrote some very memorable and amazing words. The Rock really appreciates this, especially the fact that she spent time on writing it.
‘The idea that she took the time to do that, I really appreciate because time is our most valuable asset,’ he said, ‘We don’t have a lot of it. Time is money! She was so, so articulate and she’s so beautiful in her words.’
