However, the latest street legal beast, dubbed Dubai Devel Sixteen, has shifted the borders to a new, higher level. This new supercar is the most powerful machine you can actually ride on the roads and has astonishing 4500 horsepower.
For the first time, we had the opportunity to hear about Dubai Devel Sixteen in the year of 2013 when it was presented as a concept. However, by the end of this year, those who have enough money in the piggy bank will be able to buy this beast. It is estimated that the price of this supercar will be around 1.5 million dollars, but there is still no official information.
As for the specification of the car, Devel Sixteen is powered by a 12.3-liter V16 engine. This 4-turbocharger engine is a product of a company called “Steve Morris Engines” that is located in the United States. So, this machine is capable of producing even over 4,500 horsepower. In addition, the tests showed that it has a 4.766Nm of 6.600/min and 6.900/min.
As for the maximum speed Devel Sixteen can reach, it is 560km/h, while from 0 to 100km/h, it comes in just 1.8 seconds. We need to note the fact that the V16 engine, that is installed in this supercar, is actually quite modified the V8 engine by General Motors.
Also, at the time of writing this article, Devel Sixteen is not completely legal for street driving, because it still does not meet all the criteria because it lacked proper lights and mirrors, but we expect these small problems to be solved as soon as possible.
