You probably remember too that as a child the best part of your day was when you went out and got to spend an entire day at the playground. Knowing and remembering this, if you are considering into entering the amusement park industry, then you should know that creating such area beside the crazy rides is a must.
Taking some time off to rest in between riding the rides will be a blessing for the parents too. Here are some things you need to think about and some amusement equipment you need to include in your amusement area.

·        Practical area

Firstly starting with the area around it, you need to add a bunch of benches that will be super-practical for the parents. They can sit and relax while their children are carelessly paying. Other than relaxing they can be convenient because they can be used to make a lunch break.

·        Age-appropriate

The next thing you need to think about is that when families come into your park, it is only reasonable that there will be children of various ages. So, instead of focusing on one, in particular, you have to have a specific area for each of them. Wondering why?

Well, it is evident that what seems challenging and exciting for one age, it will be impossible for the youngest and most vulnerable. This is an indirect way to keep the little ones off the big kids` amusement equipment and to keep them safe.
From toddler to age 2 the amusement should be close to the ground because usually, this group has no fear of falling.

From 2 to 5 years, the amusement should be kept simple resembling the elementary school amusement but instead with smaller shorter slides, keeping things close to the ground. And for the elementary group, they`ve gradually built body agility and awareness with fluid and confident movements so you can add something more challenging to master.

·        Safety

The safety is the most important thing for the parents, and it should be for you too.

There are a few important things to consider when inventing and planning this area such as leaving enough space between the amusement equipment, taking care of the protective ground surface, and even testing out everything before you let any child play.

Motocross: All beginnings are hard, but it’s worth it!

Motocross can be a dangerous sport if you don’t know the basics. Therefore, it is important to have basic knowledge and to follow the rules. This can prevent serious injuries. Are you a newcomer and do you want to be safer and more effective when riding motocross? Here are some fundamental tips for beginners.

Standing or sitting, that is the question here.

Most of the sport is done standing up. However, it is not uncommon for beginners to sit down too often, in most cases due to insecurity. Make sure you know when to stand up and when to sit. Sitting is not the same as sitting – there are different types of sitting… Please be careful not to shift your weight too far to the back of the bike. A good sitting position is upright in the front third of the seat – where the seat touches the tank.

Mastering tight curves

Driving particularly tight corners is part of your motocross basic training. Always start the bend standing up. At the apex, you have to sit down and accelerate. The leg should be stretched out as far as possible, but ground contact should be avoided. Therefore it is recommended to always keep the leg close to the tank.

source: motosport

Look ahead!

Never let ruts or mud puddles on the ground distract you. You should always look where you are going. If you only look as far as the front wheel, you may not be able to react quickly enough to changes in the road surface.

source: motosport

Is there room? Not so fast!

Many newcomers make the mistake of looking back and trying to avoid it as quickly as possible when a faster driver approach behind them. Sometimes they cross the road just when the faster driver is about to overtake. This can lead to accidents. It is best to reduce the speed briefly and simply continue straight ahead in the same lane.

Last but not least…

Please pay attention to the right motocross accessories – helmet, boots, and protectors save lives and prevent serious injuries!

Top 3 Thrilling Throwing Sports

Throwing any object is the matter of fun and gives plenty of pleasures to the thrower. But when throwing becomes a competition, it turns to the ability of the thrower to throw an object following a few specific rules. Ancient Egypt first introduced throwing games. Now it is not only a sport but also an art that everyone wants to have.

However, whether you are going to throw axe, knife or javelin, all that you must consider being an expert in throwing events are accuracy, body placement, and following rules.

Throwing Knife

Source:sportsdestinations.com

There is nothing more enjoyable moment than when the knife you have thrown sticks into the target. That is why knife throwing, nowadays, has been more rewarding and awesome sport. It is easy to learn knife throwing with proper knowledge, practice, and instrument.

As the name suggests, the knife is the main instrument for this sport. But not are all knives suitable for throwing. Choose a knife which is specially designed with standard balance, not too light and not too heavy. A standard knife for throwing is strong enough and does not break easily.

The second important thing you need for knife throwing is the target where you want the knife to stick into. The target should be thick and soft enough so that the tip of the knife does not become bent and gets stuck easily. A hardwood target will bounce the knife and may cause injury.

Last but foremost, body movement is a very crucial factor to be successful in knife throwing. To get an accurate throw, you also need to take the standing position and correct placement of legs into consideration.  Holding the knife with fingers also has an impact on knife throwing.

Axes are not only used for cutting purpose. Nowadays, they are also used for recreation. Can you imagine how wondering it would be when you see the axe thrown by you gets stuck in the target? But many don’t know about this enjoyable game. Let’s take a look at what an axe thrower should know to be successful.

Probably you know axe is the first and foremost instrument required for axe throwing. But the most common mistake people make is choosing the wrong axe. So, while selecting the axe or tomahawk, consider the length and weight with your height and strength.

To learn more about the choosing best axes check our gear knows site.

Apart from the axe, you need something which the axe will stick into, I mean the target.  Dead and seasoned woods are preferable as the target because they won’t be damaged easily by the strike of the tomahawk. Whether you make the target by yourself or purchase, it should be round and 60 cm in diameter.

The minimum distance for axe throwing set out by the National Axe Throwing Federation is 14 feet. And a full rotation is required for accurate throwing. So for exactly aiming at the target, hold the axe at 90 degrees upward facing the sky. While releasing the axe, make sure the movement of your arms and legs is perfect so that the axe can give a full rotation with no wobbling.

Javelin Throwing

source:theringer.com

The javelin originated by ancient Greek and was used as a throwing arsenal. Javelin throw has been introduced as an Olympic event in 1906, and with the time, it has become one of the most popular sports. It involves throwing a spear with a metal tip on the top as far as you can.

The construction and specifications of javelin used in modern men’s competition are set by International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF).  According to IAAF rules, javelin is a metallic or wooden spear with a sharp metal tip, which has a grip made of cord, around 150 mm wide. The length must be between 2.6 and 2.7 m while weight should be 800 grams. For women, minimum length is 2.2 m whereas at least weight is 600 grams, somewhat shorter and lighter than men.

Unlike other throwing sports, javelin throwers do not throw from a cycle boundary; instead, they are allowed to take a run-way of up to 4 m wide and 30 m in length to throw the javelin. Keep in mind that spin throwing is strictly prohibited in javelin throwing. To be successful in this sport, you have to master the techniques, practice properly and have strength and stability.

15. Devin Booker

Source:thesportsdaily.com

Devin Booker is an excellent offensive player, who scores consistently against most opponents. However, his defense is atrocious, and while he may score 25 each night, this guy will concede 30 easily.

14. Jamal Murray

Source:yardbarker.com

Hailed as the next James Harden, Jamal Murray has a long way to go to start fulfilling that prophecy. A combo guard forced to play point guard does have a lot of potentials, but so far, the potential is all we saw from him.

13. Kyle Kuzma

Source:slamonline.com

The confidence and scoring made Kyle Kuzma one of the Lakers; fans favorite player. His defense is still lacking though, and while Lebron James can help him improve his game, the question remains how long Kuzma has to actually start playing on both ends before he ends up on a trading block.

12. Jayson Tatum

Source:nbcsports.com

The Boston Celtics’ rising star Jayson Tatum may have made a highlight reel with his dunk over The King, but Boston ended up losing that series, in part due to his inconsistent shooting.

11. Paul George

Source:silverscreenandroll.com

One of the biggest names in the last year’s free agency ended up almost a flop. Paul George’s contribution to Oklahoma last year was disappointing. Hopefully, he will improve this year, now that Carmelo is gone.

10. Jordan Clarkson

With Lebron gone to Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers face a bleak future. Jordan Clarkson, who was a part of the package that was supposed to help The King reclaim the throne, ended up as a disappointment.

9. Jusuf Nurkic

Source:slamonline.com

Portland resigned Jusuf Nurkic for $12 million a year. Considering other salaries, that doesn’t seem like much for a quality center until you scratch the surface. His lack of lateral speed makes him a liability of the defense, something other teams in the playoffs will be quick to take advantage.

8. Reggie Jackson

Source:detroitbadboys.com

After sensing years trying to get past Russell Westbrook in Oklahoma, Reggie Jackson finally got his chance in Detroit. Unfortunately, all he has managed so far is to choke big time.

7. Karl-Anthony Towns

The recent dust-up in Minnesota has revealed some shocking truths about their young players, especially Karl-Anthony Towns. Does he truly possess the dedication needed to succeed on the level everyone expects him to? Time will tell.

6. Zach LaVine

Source:medium.com

Flashy on the court, Zach LaVine mostly puts up empty stats. He doesn’t affect the game, at least not in the manner the Bulls need him to, yet the team has extended his contract, showing faith in the athletic player.

5. DeAndre Jordan

Source:NBA.com

A true monster under the rim, DeAndre Jordan owes much of his success to the playmaking abilities of Chris Paul. He now has Milos Teodosic, another excellent point guard, but plagued with injuries. Left on his own, Jordan isn’t the threat he can be when guards feed him great passes.

4. Blake Griffin

Source:sportingnews.com

Another athletic power forward who can’t defend the rim, shoot threes or even stay healthy enough to play more than 60 games per season. And now he is entering his twilight years. Detroit have saddled themselves with his $140 million contract for the next four years, but they are yet to see any return on that money.

3. Eric Bledsoe

Source:espn.com

Eric Bledsoe is nearing the end of his prime years without much to show for. His playmaking abilities aren’t on par with other top point guards in the league, and his shooting is nothing to write home about.

2. Dennis Schröder

Source:peachtreehoops.com

Once projected to be the face of the franchise in Atlanta, Dennis Schröder lack of court vision and poor shot selection will probably see him sitting on the bench in Oklahoma.

1. Andrew Wiggins

The biggest news surrounding Andrew Wiggins was his trade from Cleveland to Minnesota for Kevin Love. Since then, he has rarely appeared on front pages, and we are still waiting for him to actually do something with his career.

Roman Reigns’ Best and Worst Moments of the WWE Universal Championship Rule

Roman Reigns had six attempts to capture the WWE Championship title, but he failed to do so. He had two defeats against Brock Lesnar before he managed to get to the final goal. However, his reign didn’t last long due to Leukemia problems, which surprised many WWE fans.

Reigns was ruling the pro-wrestling industry for 64 days, and his feud with Braun Strowman will be down in the books as one of the best. However, it is time to revisit Reign’s rule and remind ourselves of the best and the worst moments he had.

One Night After Winning the Title

Source:thenational.ae

Who would have thought that we would watch a S.H.I.E.L.D reunion on RAW? After Reigns successfully defended his Universal Championship Title against Finn Balor, Mr. Monster in the Bank Braun Strowman cashed in his MITB contract on Reigns. With the familiar music starting in the background, the fans could see Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins with the same black attire familiar to everyone. The trio literally destroyed Strwoman who ended thrown through the announce table.

Hell in a Cell against Braun Strowman

Source:deviantart.com

Only the biggest rivals have the opportunity to show the crowd who is better in a Hell in a Cell match. While the wrestlers are doing their best to beat the opponents, this is a true treat for the fans who get to enjoy a hardcore clash. Several feuds and rivalries are ended with this kind of matches.

Although Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman were the ones fighting, it was their allies that got more attention. Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler’s fall of the cell really took the breath away from the fans. Mick Foley was the special guest referee, but even he couldn’t save it for Roman. In the end, it was Lesnar who came out victorious.

Universal Championship Defenses on RAW

Source:comicbook.com

Kevin Owens was the last Universal Champ who defended his title on Monday Night RAW. After that UC matches became exclusive pay-per-view only. However, Reigns promised to defend his title, and his first opponent was Finn Balor. General Manager of RAW Baron Corbin betted against the Big Dog, but to his disappointment, Reigns emerged as a winner.

The S.H.I.E.L.D overshadowed the Universal Title

Source:express.co.uk

Although fans must be thrilled to see the popular wrestlers reunited, it overshadowed Reigns’ success, and the belt over his shoulder looked meaningless as the trio was getting prepared to face off one of the Dogs of War in non-title matches on RAW. The reunion could have been postponed allowing Reigns to enjoy and defend his title first.

Leukemia

Source:thesource.com

The most shocking revelation happened on RAW. Roman Reigns stepped into the ring, and he broke character. He said that his name is Joe and he has been battling leukemia for the past 11 years. Because of the issues, he had to give up on his Universal Championship. It would be a small thing to say that everyone was shocked.

Reigns left his title in the middle of the ring, and then he left. His brothers from the team showed up, and they did the famous fist bump, perhaps for the last time. This was one of the most emotional moments of RAW, and the company shared a backstage video of superstars supporting and consolidating Joseph Anoa’i.

Roman Reigns has been one of the biggest names in professional wrestling, but his short rule was ended abruptly. The fans were hoping to see him go on and on to become one of the greatest, but that will not happen. With a lot of ups and downs during his reign, Roman has one battle he needs to win, and it will be the toughest battle of his life.

12. Eton Wall Game

Source:pinterest

At Eton College in England, this game is an activity for over 300 years. Maybe similar to rugby or football to some extent, it is actually a very different game. The wall is the main field. Players pile up in order to fight over the ball. You score if you are near either end of the wall, and you kick the ball to anything that resembles a goal, like a door for example or a tree. It is not nearly as simple as it sounds. The last score happened back in 1909. Talk about a dry spell.

11. Chess Boxing

Source:lecourrieraustralien.com

You have probably heard about this one already. Chess players are sitting and playing, with a boxing glove on one hand. In Finland, they mix boxing and chess together in this strange sport. 10. Shin Kicking

Source:youtube

Shin Kicking is another famous sport in Cotswolds, England, around the same place where the already mentioned cheese rolling takes place. If you have ever hit your shin, you know how much it can hurt. This one is truly special.

9. Freestyle Walking

Source:wfpf.com

A certain sport provides consolation for those who are not that great at biking, skateboarding or rollerblading. The sport is so popular that famous video game characters like the SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog, and Tidus from Final Fantasy X, do it in some editions of their popular games.

8. Ferret Legging

Source:alfredssonsblommor.com

Ferret Legging is pretty crazy, and not that popular with players. Two angry ferocious ferrets are trapped in your pants, and you have to last the longest. A day like this could quickly go bad for you. The amazing thing to note is that the record stands at 5 hours.

7. Skibobbing

Source:edubilla.com

Skiing and snowboarding are great speed sports during winter. Some even consider these fast-pacing competitions to be extreme sports, with dangers like banging yourself on a tree. However, if you mastered both of these, then skibobbing is just the thing for you. It is just like any other winter sport, but now you also add a bicycle into the mix. We will let you ponder on this one.

6. Camel Wrestling

Source:independent.co.uk

You have probably heard of bullfights, cockfighting, and even dogfights. These are all extremely cruel and often involve the death of one of the animals. In camel wrestling in Turkey, all is well because there is no spilling of blood, no casualties, and no guilt in the end. The match is decided when a camel runs away or when one falls hard on the ground.

5. Extreme Ironing

Source:videoblocks.com

Unlike the regular house activity, this ironing sport takes you to the most unpredictable places, like edges of cliffs, on a wakeboard, the top of Mount Everest, in ruins, while parachuting, and such. Although actual events do not happen, teams and groups of competitors assemble and go places to show the world where ironing can happen. The results are some unlikely, often dangerous spots.

4. Real Ale Wobble

Source:mbswindon.co.uk

As the bike race goes on, riders need to continuously drink beverage on different checkpoints and try to be the least tipsy of all by the race’s end. Much tougher than it sounds, but it does seem crazy fun. Obviously, those with a high tolerance will win this competition, while lightweight drinkers could easily get lost, or get themselves in some other unfortunate scenarios.

3. Conker Smashing

Source:expressandstar.com

Every October, teams from around the globe assemble in Ashton, Northamptonshire, to hold the World Conker Smashing Competition, which hosts over 300 players. Source:youtube

All those free worms, many competitors have to be fishermen, right.

1. Bed Racing

Source:sites.google.com

Started as a fun pastime activity by American soldiers in 1965, it only used to be played by them. Decades later, Bed Racing became more globally popular, with people competing in this fun sport far and wide. The idea is to beat other competitors to the finish line, but there are rules to the craziness. The team includes six players who push the bed, and another riding in the bed, similar to bobsledding. An interesting detail is that the bed should be able to float because the team needs to cross a river as the final event. Should be fun to be the bed guy.

Which of these sounds most fun to you? Would you dare try any of them? One thing is certain. They all must be extremely funny to watch.

NFL week 8th Preview and Predictions

Fans around the world are warming up for the NFL week 8 events, so here is a glimpse into what we are looking at;

Dolphins (4-3) at Texans (4-3)

Opening line: Texans -7.5

The Texans may be on a four-game winning streak, but they will be worried about their weaknesses at covering the spreads. Still, the Dolphins are historically still just 1-7 against the Texans, so expect them not to come in too confident. According to The World Sports Network the Dolphins are still without their franchise player, Ryan Tannehill, due to an injury.

Jets (3-4) at Bears (3-3)

Opening line: Bears -6

The Bears are not exactly the team you want to be betting on because of their risky approach to the game especially when playing in the AFC East. The Jets are also just 2-7 in the NFC since 2016 and 0-10 in the last ten matches.

Seahawks (3-3) at Lions (3-3)

Opening line: Lions -2.5

Seahawks are always all over the place when they play as the underdogs. The Lions on the other hands have been a very solid team to play on, covering 7 in their last 9. They are 5-1 ATS this year.

Eagles (3-4) vs. Jaguars (3-4) in London

Opening line: Eagles -3

London games have become simple to predict; the favorite almost always takes it all home. On paper, this looks good for the Eagles, but you can never overlook the prowess in a team of the  Jaguars’ caliber, especially with the Eagles sitting at 2-5 ATS, which is a really bad place.

Buccaneers (3-3) at Bengals (4-3)

Opening line: Bengals -6

The Bengals are looking at 7-2-1 straight-up last 10 matches against NFC opponents. The bad news for them is that the Buccaneers haven’t succumbed in Cincinnati going on 30 years now.

Browns (2-4-1) at Steelers (3-2-1)

Opening line: Steelers -7.5

The Browns are at 3-0-1 ATS last four meet-ups with the Steelers and 5-2 overall this season. The Steelers are a little worse for wear in this one.

Broncos (3-4) at Chiefs (6-1)

Opening line: Chiefs -9

Sitting at 7-0 ATS, the Chiefs are everyone’s dream bet this season. The Broncos have been on the Losing end against Kansas City in 6 straight games.

Ravens (4-3) at Panthers (4-2)

Opening line: Hard to say

Panthers have been on a roll, winning 6 straight against AFC rivals. Ravens haven’t enjoyed the same luck against NFC teams, sitting at 3-7 straight-up and ATS in the last two clashes.

Redskins (4-2) at Giants (1-5)

Opening line: Redskins -1

The Giants are not good at the spread but are 2-8 straight-up in the last 10. The Redskins are not any better, with 2-8 in the last 8 against opponents in the division.

Packers (3-2-1) at Rams (7-0)

Opening line: Rams -8.5

The undefeated Rams are 4-3 ATS this season. The Packers have been on the losing end away from home on four consecutive times.

Colts (2-5) at Raiders (1-5)

Opening line: Colts -1.5

The Colts never do well in the West Coast. The Raiders are 2-4 ATS this season.

Patriots (5-2) at Bills (2-5)

Opening line: Patriots -13

The Bills are 6-3-1 ATS at home since last season. The Patriots, on the other hand, have headlined the league for a decade.

Saints (5-1) at Vikings (4-2-1)

Opening line: Vikings -2.5

Minnesota has beaten Saints twice in the last 13 months, but the latter is ridiculously good in the month of October.

49ers (1-6) at Cardinals (1-6)

This should be easy on the Cardinals, seeing as they have gone 7-0 against their erstwhile rivals, a route starting way back in 2015.
