Kobe Bryant’s Car Collection – The Black Mamba Rides

When your skills get you to the NBA, you are bound to make some money, but when you are on top of the food chain for many years, like Kobe Bryant was, it will get you tons of money. This is exactly what happened to this guy, and his net worth is reported to be about $260 million.

We are sure that you can get many great cars with just a portion of that money and Kobe decided to spend a little bit of it on some amazing rides. An interesting fact is that Black Mamba speaks fluent Italian as he grew up there. This might be the reason why he so much loves European and especially Italian vehicles. Check out the impressive Kobe Bryant’s car collection.

10. Ferrari F430

We mentioned Italy, and it would be appropriate to begin this list with one of the best supercars made by Ferrari. The F430 is a part of the collection, and this model came as a replacement for the 360 while it was in production until 2009. It is clear that Kobe loves this one as he still keeps it in his garage even it has few years under its belt. Price at the time of purchase was about $400,000.

Michael Jordan’s Car Collection (and private airplane)

If you have watched pretty much any NBA game in the last 35 to 40 years, there is a good chance that you heard Michael Jordan’s name. You don’t have to be a fan of basketball to know who this man is as he is considered to be the greatest of all time (GOAT). With all that fame came the fortune and for a man with style, it is simple to choose nice looking cars.

The well-known #23 turned 55 on February 17, and it is hard to imagine any conversation about basketball to go without mentioning his name. Here is the list of cars that Michael Jordan owns or has previously owned.

10. Aston Martin DB9 Volante

Let’s start this list with one of the most beautiful supercars ever created, Aston Martin DB9 Volante. It is hard to find any better-looking vehicle both inside and outside, so it is logical for Jordan to have one.

Marilyn Monroe’s Ford Thunderbird Is Going To Be Auctioned In November

Everybody knows who Marilyn Monroe was. She’s still considered a fashion icon and one of the most recognizable faces of the 20th century. Another icon, but in automotive fashion is Henry Ford. You must be asking yourself what the two of them have in common?

It’s a black 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This car is famous because Marilyn and her husband Arthur Miller drove in it on the day of their wedding in 1956. The vehicle was in Monroe’s possession until she decided to gift it to John Strasberg on his 18th birthday.

Sadly Marilyn died not long after that, but the Thunderbird is still alive. Julien’s Auctions are going to auction the car in November. They estimated the price to go up to $490,000.

The black Ford Thunderbird is partially restored, but it still has original parts. And it has only 30,399 miles on its rebuilt engine.

The president of Julien’s Auctions, Darren Julien said that this is not just a regular car. It’s part of the history, automotive history, and Hollywood history. If you buy this vehicle, you will also get a story, a story about glamor, a story about romance and a story about a tragic life of a Hollywood starlet.

If you are a fan of Marilyn Monroe, or a fan of Henry Ford, or both, head out to the Julien’s Auctions on November 17 and try to get your hands on this magical car. And yes, don’t forget to bring with you about half a million dollars.

Top 10 American Rides For the Independence Day

The second President of the United States, John Adams, one of the founding fathers, had an idea how July 4th should really be celebrated. He said that Independence Day should be marked with parades, shows, sports and games, bells, bonfires and guns, and that it should be present in all corners of the new continent.

Today, we dare to say that he would surely add a few vehicles to his perfect list. Without further ado, let us look at a list of top ten cars ideal for a July 4 drive.

10. Hummer H1

Originally made as a military vehicle, the Hummer is a truck that won the Gulf War. It runs on a 6.5L Detroit Diesel turbocharged V8 engine. Its Chevrolet TH400 transmission is bulletproof and sends power to all four wheels. This beast of a truck can take on any terrain, as the air pressure in each tire is controlled independently.

9. Ford Mustang

One of the legendary muscle cars, Ford’s famous model, is a perfect American car. The 2019 Bullitt version is a great option for undercover cops if you ask us. We also recommend the Boss 302 Laguna Seca. Anyway, there is a wide array of Mustangs to choose from, so take your time.

8. Jeep Wrangler

Developed in WW2 and originally used for transporting troops in combat, its help in winning the war is indisputable. The enthusiasm of Americans for Jeeps has not stopped ever since, as you can see a huge number of these machines all over the country.

7. Dodge/SRT Viper

Hitting the streets for the first time in 1992, the Viper is a modern American supercar. It is a collaboration between Lee Iaccoca and Carroll Shelby. Originally, Viper had no roof or windows, nor an automatic transmission. Times have changed, and the Fiat-Chrysler company had different priorities, and they stopped manufacturing the famous snake in 2017. Nevertheless, there are still a lot of Vipers to choose from, so hurry up. Their price will surely surge now that no new versions are scheduled to appear!

6. Ford GT

With an idea of winning the famed 24 hours of Le Mans, Ford came up with the GT. In 1967, they managed to take home the trophy. Again, in 2017, they wanted another victory, and their legendary racing supercar delivered again.

5. Chevrolet Corvette

The Z06 Corvette made everyone think that it would be the top dog for years to come. However, Chevrolet came up with the Corvette ZR1, a 755 horsepower beast of a car. You can either have it as a convertible, or a Targa top coupe, which is a semi-convertible. In addition, you can also choose between a 7-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The ZR1 has a top speed of 212 mph, that engine generates 715 lb-ft of torque, and it needs 13 radiators to keep everything running smoothly.

4. SRT Hellcat or Demon

Already a collectible, there were only 300 Dodge Demons manufactured. The Challenger model accomplishes consistent 9-second mark times in the quarter-mile drag race thanks to its 840 horsepower engine. This is the first production car that NHRA banned. The new 2019 models of the Charger and the Challenger Hellcats come with a variety of upgrades, so make sure you check that out.

3. Ford Raptor

The legendary F-150 is an amazing truck. The same engine as the Ford GT, a twin-turbo V6, slightly detuned, powers this 4-wheeler. Feel free to go and enjoy any terrain with this bad boy, it is not afraid of anything. With locking differentials and a remote reservoir suspension by Fox, no surface stands a chance against the Raptor.

2. Chevrolet Camaro

Arguably the best muscle car series ever, the Camaro is the 15th fastest car ever to do a lap at the famously dangerous Nurburgring track in Germany. It accomplished this in the 7:16.04 and worth mentioning is the fact that all cars which did it faster, are supercars that cost several times more, than the ZL1 1LE edition of the Camaro.

1. Cadillac CTS-V

This one is surely a surprise, especially on the top spot, right? Some utter genius at the Lansing Grand River plant decided one day that it would be a great idea to put a Corvette Z06 engine into the CTS, while the suspension was perfected at the ‘Ring. It was a good idea as it turns out. It has an engine packed with 650 horsepower similar to the ones found in the Corvette Z06, and the Camaro ZL1. In addition to that, it is equipped with a comfortable magnetic suspension and a great deal of legroom. It is a Cadillac after all. If this power is just too much for you, the company also offers CTS Vsport with a twin-turbo V6 engine from the ATS-V. This one has “only” 420 horsepower and does 24 miles per gallon.

We hope you have fun this July 4. Remember to drive responsibly. Although it sounds like an amazing time, cars, various beverages, and fireworks do not mix well. Keep that paint job away from the fire, and enjoy Independence Day!

Donald Trump’s Car Collection Including Planes And Helicopter

Even before Donald Trump became the US President, he was world famous for his wealth. Some estimations suggest that his net worth is at about $4.5 Billion and with that much money he can definitely indulge himself with a few cars and other means of transportation that usually are not available to mere mortals.

Just like many other rich people Mr. Trump has a nice collection of vehicles and a garage that holds quite interesting models. On top of that, he also has a helicopter and an airplane, and we will take a look at rides of POTUS.
This will be a true feast for your eyes and if you want to know what are cars of choice for a billionaire keep on reading.

16. 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ S600

With the wealth that this man has, security comes as one of the most important things when choosing a car. While in Oval Office he might not be often riding in this beast on wheels, we are sure that he often used it when going on meetings. Mercedes S600 packs 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces 500 hp and 523 lb-ft of torque that is enough for this machine to race from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds. Have in mind that this vehicle offers protection against small explosive devices and small firearms, plus it has a top of the line alarm system and self-sealing gas tank. It can be easily called fortress on wheels.

When you are filthy rich, you can ask any carmaker, even Rolls Royce, to create a unique car for you. Reports suggest that one of the first models that Trump owned was the 1956 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud and he approached RR with a request for them to build a new one identical to the original vehicle he had. This way, he is sure that this is unique and only he has it.

If you need ultimate luxury, Rolls Royce is the way to go. It is clear that POTUS loves this brand and his Phantom comes with a 6.75-liter V12 engine capable of pumping out 453 hp. Paired with eight-speed transmission this 6.000 pounds heavy limousine can hit 60 mph in under 6.0 seconds which is a great result for a 20 feet long vehicle. Base price is set to $500,000, but it easily goes higher with a few added options.

We are not sure if Trump has ever driven the Orange County Chopper 24-Karat Gold masterpiece, but what we do know is that he loves motorcycles. Prices of these custom choppers can easily become sky high and knowing that this one carries a lot of gold, it is hard to find a better investment.

If you are not counting busses and other similar vehicles, it is hard to find anything that can match Cadillac Escalade’s size. This model owes its popularity to the fact that many famous people own one of these spacious and elegant SUVs. Under the hood, we have 6.2-liter V8 that pumps out impressive 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. On top of that, it is always a good thing to have an American made vehicle like this one.

Since the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren was built in only 370 examples, it became a perfect choice for those that want something unique and have a deep pocket. When a vehicle comes with both Mercedes and McLaren badges, it is clear that we are getting ultimate luxury in combination with sportiness. With 617 hp and 575 lb-ft. of torque, it isn’t anything strange that it was priced at $450,000.

10. Tesla Roadster

Most vehicles on the list so far were quite demanding in terms of gasoline, but the Tesla Roadster is a complete opposite of that. This is a Lotus Elise based electric vehicle that was made by Elon Musk’s Tesla Company from the US. When launched, it was able to offer supercar acceleration thanks to its powerful electric motors.

9. Mercedes-Maybach S600

It seems that Rolls Royce and Mercedes are among the favorite cars of POTUS, and another luxury limo in his garage is the Mercedes Maybach S600. This vehicle brings all the comfort one need and under its hood is the V12 unit with 6.0-liter displacement and twin-turbo system that churns out 523 hp and 612 lb-ft of torque.

8. Cadillac Presidential Limo “The Beast”

Becoming president of the US has many benefits, and one of those is that you get to ride in Cadillac Presidential Limo or “The Beast” how they call it. This car brings the highest level of luxury in combination with maximum security. It has been reported that the current limo will be soon replaced with a new one and we are sure that it will offer an even higher level of luxury and protection.

7. 1993 Cadillac Allante

You might wonder how come the ’93 Allante ended up in the car collection of Donald Trump. This model was used as the pace car for the 76th Indy 500 race, and it packs a 4.6-liter Northstar engine that produces 295 hp. It is clear that this vehicle was more about design and not the speed. What we can notice is the clear influence of Pininfarina as it was produced in Italy. This might be one of the reasons why it is a part of Trump’s collection.

Another piece of Americana in the garage of this billionaire is a replica of 1969 Indianapolis 500 pace car. It was planned for Trump to drive the pace car at the 100th Indianapolis 500, but unfortunately, he couldn’t make it because of his business ventures. He was replaced by AJ Foyt, but POTUS didn’t miss the opportunity to buy one of the 500 replicas. One thing that was changed compared to the original car is the fact that the new one packs 6.2-liter V8 capable of delivering 426 hp, making it significantly more powerful than the original.

Not all cars that Trump owned are still in his possession, he decided to sell a few of his vehicles, and those are…

5. 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT

Today we have a few more choices when it comes to supercars, but in the late ’90s, there were only a few and the 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT was definitely one of the best options for anyone who wanted to have a supercar. Trump opted for the LeMans Blue roadster and he, later on, sold it. After he won the elections, this car emerged again as it was offered for $299,000.

4. 2007 Ferrari F430

It is possible that Trump had a midlife crisis as he owned another supercar. It was the Ferrari F430, he sold it and got few more German cars.

When you are a wealthy businessman, and you appreciate your time, you want to travel in style and as quick as possible. That is one of the reasons why Mr. Trump decided to add a few flying machines to his collection, and we will take a look at those also.

3. Boeing 757

The main idea of owning a jet is to be able to travel anywhere without much airport hassle. This plane was owned by Paul Allen who co-founded Microsoft and was bought by Trump in 2011. He made it quite luxurious with adding leather seats and even 24-karat gold seat-belt buckles. It can transport up to 43 passengers that will be able to enjoy the luxurious interior that provides many gold-trimmed details. This jet also has two bedrooms and TVs all over the place.

2. Cessna Citation X

Another plane in Trump’s collection is the Cessna Citation X. While this one can carry “only” 12 passengers, it is also luxurious and filled with gold. Is this the one for shorter trips or something like that?

1. Sikorsky S-76 Helicopter

Sometimes it is much easier to take your chopper and fly anywhere you want. Well, most people don’t know that feeling, but for POTUS it is a normal thing. He decided to spend about $7 million on Sikorsky S-76 Helicopter.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Car Collection (BONUS Terminator bike scenes)

The rich career of Arnold Schwarzenegger as an actor allowed him to earn a lot, and he decided to spend a portion of his wealth on cars and various vehicles. If you didn’t live under the rock for the last 40 years, you definitely know who this guy is. Arni was the main star of Terminator franchise and was involved in so many great and epic Hollywood releases.

Almost all the roles that he landed came thanks to his muscles as he was one of the biggest guys in the business. Schwarzenegger is not only an actor, before becoming a famous Hollywood star he was a professional bodybuilder and he managed to take a total of seven wins at Mr. Olympia. Arnold is still active in movie making, but since he is 70, he slowed down. We could see him in the role of a politician as he was Governor of California in two terms from 2003 to 2011.

Let’s take a look at Arnold Schwarzenegger’s car collection. One thing that we want to note is the fact that muscle guy like him has ultra-luxury models but also real muscle cars and vehicles that are considered quite manly. Those are some that go best with his character of a Hollywood tough guy.

If you want to show your manhood with a car, it is pretty hard to beat Hummer H1. It might look silly for a nonmuscle guy to drive one of these, but in this case, it seems like it was built for Arni. We always wondered who was the inspiration for Ranier Wolfcastle character from The Simpsons.

The Austrian native is a real Terminator, at least on the screen, and if you are looking for a muscle car that would fit that machine well, you don’t need to go any further than the Dodge Challenger SRT that he was driving. He was spotted on multiple occasions driving this one.

It is clear that Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t forget Europe and one of the cars on the list is the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. We are sure that this German vehicle reminds him of his home and that is certainly one of the reasons to buy this beauty. With 6.3 liter V8 under the hood, this beast delivers 563 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque which is more than enough for it to provide supercar performances.

Another European ride in the collection of Arnold Schwarzenegger is the Porsche 911 Turbo. Red interior goes very well with the gray exterior, and it suits the famous actor perfectly.

Some of the best roles in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s resume were military related, and we can easily imagine this man driving around in various vehicles that are used by the military. A similar case is with the Ex-Military Dodge M37, and we need to say that this is a truck that you will rarely find in garages of famous people.

The Excalibur is a proof that Arni has some classy vehicles in his collection and on top of that he enjoys driving it. We are among many that didn’t even hear about this brand, and that isn’t anything strange as it isn’t all that famous.

It is already clear that Arnold Schwarzenegger has a lot of money and many great vehicles in his garage. He decided to get another Hummer H1, but this one comes with a Terminator written right above the wheel clearly indicating who is behind the wheel.

M47 Patton Tank, or any other tank for that matter, is a rare sight in the luxury collections of Hollywood stars, but it is clear that Arni is slightly different. This tank was created for Korean War, and Schwarzenegger, later on, bought one that he used to crush cars for charity. Lots of fun, we are sure about that.

When you think about luxury cars you definitely think about Bently as one of the best brands on the market in that segment. When former Mr. Olympia wants to ride in ultimate luxury, he opts for the Bentley Continental GTC.

Another massive vehicle in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s garage is the Unimog that carries Mercedes badge on the grille. You might wonder why he needs this machine in his collection, well, it is simple, why not.

Mark Zuckerberg’s Car Collection – Infiniti, Pagani, Acura, Honda (BONUS YACHT)

As the founder and one of the owners of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg is extremely rich. It is pretty hard to find anyone that doesn’t know who this guy is, we are sure that about 2 billion people that are using social network he made are well aware who he is.

Current estimations say that his net worth is about $72 Billion, which is incredible for anyone, let alone for a 27 years old tech genius. With the amount of money he has many would expect to see him spending a decent portion of his wealth on various luxury items. But the story with this man is slightly different.

You will not see him visiting elite restaurants, he buys clothes available to pretty much all people and has only a few vehicles in his garage. This is quite strange as we know that celebrities and rich people love to spend their fortune on supercars and have multi-million dollar collections. Here is the list of cars that are owned by Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook.

5. Honda Fit

Honda Fit is not a car you would expect to see in billionaire garage, but Mark has one. This vehicle is offered with a small four-cylinder engine that produces 117 hp and is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. This is enough for a max speed of 118 mph and for most rich people it would be embarrassing to drive one of these, but not for Facebook CEO.

Michael Jackson’s Car Collection

There is no doubt that Michael Jackson was the most influential name in the music industry, and even after his death in 2009, he remains one of the biggest stars. If we compared him with other stars in the industry, it would be easy to conclude that he was different and unique. This also stands for his choice of cars and vehicles that he owned.

During his fruitful career, he managed to launch many top chart hits which allowed him to amass huge wealth. The thing is, he didn’t spend his money on things like other rich people, and that was also notable with vehicles that he bought. Here is the Michael Jackson’s car collection.

8. 1990 Rolls Royce Silver Spur

Back in the days, if you wanted to ride in perfect comfort, you would get one of these limousines. The 1990 Rolls Royce Silver Spur is a perfect for a star like Michael Jackson as it offers a combination of white leather and black fabric. Privacy is guaranteed with tinted windows and white curtains while you have a full-service bar inside. Under the hood is the 6.75-liter V8 that is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.

7. 1954 Cadillac Fleetwood

This Fleetwood has a history as it is the car that was used for the filming of Driving Miss Daisy. Under the hood is the 331 CID V8 engine that uses overhead valve design and offers 230 hp. With a wheelbase of 133 inches, it provides plenty of space.

6. 1997 Neoplan Touring Bus

When you are often on the road like Michael Jackson was, you want to have all the luxury and comfort while traveling. He purchased Neoplan Touring Bus and equipped it with all he needs; it offers individual seats and booths. The carpet comes with embroidered king’s crown, and this bus was used for HIStory World Tour. One of the most impressive things here is that it had a full-size bathroom and gold, porcelain and granite were some of the materials used to equip it.

5. 1988 GMC Jimmy High Sierra Classic

We have already said that there will be a few strange vehicles in this collection and one of those certainly is the 1988 GMC Jimmy High Sierra Classic. We are not sure why did he buy this firetruck and if he ever drove it.

4. 1988 Lincoln Town Car

Another limo in the collection is the 1988 Lincoln Town Car, but this one comes pretty much standard with fabric interior in combination with gray leather. Under the hood is the standard 5.0-liter engine allowing it to easily cruise both in town and on the highway.

3. 1993 Ford Econoline

This 1993 Ford Econoline was fully customized, and it came with TV, game console, leather seats and similar. One thing to note is the fact that the game console pretty much belongs to a museum today.

2. 2001 Harley Touring bike in police trim

Here is yet another mysterious vehicle in the collection, this time it is a police-themed bike. Michael Jackson never expressed his love towards two-wheelers, and on top of that, this one comes in police colors. It brings everything a standard law enforcement bike would offer, lights and sirens included.

1. 1909 Detamble Model B Roadster Replica

Among all these strange but interesting models is the 1909 Detamble Model B Roadster Replica. If it weren’t a replica it would be worth tons of money, it might be one of the most expensive vehicles in the collection.
