Lindsay Markle joined the Foreign Policy Initiative in 2015 as a Government Relations Associate. Prior to joining FPI, she interned with the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, Catholic Relief Services, and Senator Richard Lugar in her home state of Indiana. Lindsay’s research interests include economic development, political risk, and international trade. Previously, Lindsay represented the United States at the G20 Youth Summit in St. Petersburg, Russia and spent a semester abroad in Madrid, Spain. In 2014, Lindsay graduated from the University of Chicago with her master’s in International Relations, where she wrote her thesis on political risk and foreign investment trends in emerging markets. She graduated with her bachelor’s with honors from Purdue University in 2013, majoring in Political Science and Sociology and minoring in Spanish.
